Your Team: NEUTRAL at Kettering v Kidderminster
Night/Day: Day
Match: 8/10- fast paced, good passing, constant action. The BSP is a million miles faster and better than BSN.
Atmosphere: 7/10- Kettering for a side top of the league were relatively quiet. The ones who sing seem about 10 and have very boring songs too. Kidderminster tried well with no cover, loud.
Food: I only had a marsbar in the ground, you can't mark that
Drink: As above, just a sprite.
Bar: n/a
People: 8/10- know what to expect with CSK and Dazza, decent chat as usual.
Programme: n/a
Town: n/a
Ground: 7/10- when quite full(2000+) rockingam road seems alright. I stood on the side terrace and quite like it in there
Talent: saw sod all
Overall day: 7/10- beats sitting at home bored with no football

Athletico Telford, FA Trophy
Night/Day: Noon kickoff
Match: 7/10 Not brilliant football on display. We were better first half, they were better second half, but we held on for the win. Extra points added due to the fact that its enjoyable to see your side win a 5th game against a Conference side in one season, and do the double over Kettering at the same time.
Atmosphere: 7/10 Both sets of fans gave it a go. Kettering were probably louder in the first half an hour or so, helped by the low roof, but after they went 1-0 down they were very quiet. We were average in the first half, but better in the second half. The last 15 mins or so were fantastic, it was non-stop even it wasn't that loud. I would estimate that we had 200-250 there (didnt hear of any official figure), and we did a good job on the open terrace.
Oh, and what happened to the Kettering fans trying to make it hostile for the Telford fans and players? I felt more intimidated at Vauxhall.
Food: 8/10 I didn't have any, but everyone else seemed very pleased with it.
Drink: 7/10 For the pints of Worthingtons in the Dugout, when we had got back to Telford. Standard cup of coffee in Kettering's ground.
Bar: N/A. Couldnt go in due to segregation.
People: N/A. Didn't speak to any, also due to segregation. The chavs and Danny Dyer wannabes in the corner of the side terrace looked like right tits in the second half though. One lad in particular, with a grey coat and cap, spent the whole of the second half playing the big man, backed up by a few annoying chavs. He could have been a Worcester fan, what a mongy spastic. Didnt seem to be able to take their banter, so they just mouthed off and did hilarious hoolie gestures, behind the safety of the police. Comedy.
Programme: Didn't get one.
Town: 6/10. Average town. Not particularly nice and not rough either. Standard.
Ground: 5/10. Mainstand would be good if it wasn't for the missing seats. Covered side terrace seemed to have good acoustics, but it looked shabby and in need of some work. The 2 ends were poor, not even terraced, just slopes of concrete.
Talent: 3/10 Few nice pieces driving on the motorway. That was about it.
Overall day: 8/10. Through to the quarter finals, and we deserved it. A sweet victory against a side who appeared to be complacent - 2nd win over Kettering in the space of a few weeks, and this time we beat a full strenth Kettering side, with a half strength Telford side (due to injuries) Good laugh, half-decent atmosphere and a win, can't ask for a lot more.

The only fun part of today was watching the Telford 12 year old army make twats of themselves.
Still back to school on Monday.

I would love to know how the Telford yougsters made twats of themselves. They weren't the ones who couldn't take their banter.

Your Team:Corby
Night/Day: Night 02/02/10
Match: Kettrin 0. v Corby 2. County cup
Atmosphere:10/10 in away end, 680 Corby at the game,
Food: Nice burgers and it was pay what or if, you wanted
Drink: Tea was piss so most was thrown away
Bar:10/10 Beeswing was brilliant before game but was packed. Three fingers up your bum, not heard that for 20 years
People: We are the people.
Programme:Went to the pub. Went to the game. Went to the pub. Went home.
Town; If its not boarded up its a charity shop
Ground: What a shithole. Has this place got a safety certificate. No way can this be up to Conference prem standards.
Talent:Your having a laugh, in kettrin for fcuk sake
Overall day:
Brilliant night out. Started with reading the kettrin forum and all the excuses for the sheep not going to the game some of them were 10/10.
On the bus to the Beeswing great crack in there. Then on to the game. What can I say. We took a full strength kettrin apart from start to finish. The banners were out and the plastic sheep were getting bounced about. Another 10/10 for the Land for sale see K.B.C. banner. There is no way any crime could be solved in Kettrin using DNA. It is all the same .

Full strength Kettering side ?? ![]()
No Nathan Abbey, No Alton Thelwell, No Marcus Kelly, No Andre Boucaud, John Dempster starting on the bench, Marna off after 20 minutes...
Yeah keep telling yourself it was a "full strength" Kettering side and you soon might believe it same as if you keep telling yourself our fans stayed away because unlike you morons we took the game for what it was - a pointless Micky Mouse cup tie and not some major cup final" and not because we were all "scared"
of the big bad Corby army (what were you going to do?, beat us all up :lol) you might believe that to.
Anyway glad to see you enjoyed your cup final.

Was a semi final. Give some credit . You put a near full side out and they were not up for it we were and won a fair result yes only the Hiller cup which is why i never posted the result in the first place. Nice to have won what could be the last meeting before you become Kettering Boro. Without taking the piss much whats the craic you lot helping to pay the bones wages.
I think they have plans for a new ground at Rothwell but no money ok would be shite going down to the southern league divsion 1 but with a new ground a sure a Kettering boro side would come back up to current levekl in time not that i would want that to happen.
