After watching us get smashed by Gainsborough last week and paying to watch that today I don't think I will be going next week :sentoff:

I thought it wasn't too bad in the first half but the second half was terrible.

Some of the players that were actually playing couldn't get the basics right and many of the rest didn't seem interested in trying to win the ball or perhaps going for the second ball. When we did go forward we gave the ball away or didn't support the player with the ball to give them any options to pass to. I did wonder what we were doing with Arnison as a kind of target man yet he's not that type of player? For me though the lack of challenges both at the back and in the middle is a real worry and I hope Edmo gets rid of the non-triers and gets in players who want to win the ball and battle for the cause because many of this lot simply didn't do that today.

I'd have thought that the players would be out to impress DE, but today all many of them will have done is speeded up their departure, things need to change asap. The board must also take a lot of blame for the way things are at present due to the fact it took them over 5 weeks to get a new manager appointed and the uncertainty this has caused amongst the team yet I'd bet they never even thought about this.

They were the worst side I've seen at Holker street for quite some time and they turned Barrow over oh so easily. Says it all really, honestly don't think Edmo can do anything with these players, you cant polish a ****. Squad overhaul a necessity if we stand any chance of stopping up.

Yet another poor performance and sadly again shows the standard of this set of players ...........very poor
We have no leaders on the pitch and I sure edmo will have seen the epic task he has inherited ,I wish him best of luck.
Can understand why people are not going and others are leaving ,its supposed to be entertainment but the way we are playing is so non entertaining .
Midfield again missing,,sorry to say Edwards not player he was getting caught out bit to easily,O'Donnell no better than Williams and definitely not a team player imo.Arnison no good up front hes just a poacher when playing off target man(which we haven't got). Our loan players getting ready to go back to their clubs by the way they are playing.
Don't think its fair to say they haven't got heart /commitment........ think they all want to do better but sadly lack quality :(
But will be there again next saturday

That second half was one of the most spineless displays I can remember seeing for some time, take away Burns and this side haven't got an ounce of fight in them.

We are weak as [SwearFilter], centre-halves who can't defend and get bullied, midfielders that are just anonymous and afraid to get stuck in. Maidenhead were a very very poor side, but we made them look good second half. First half we didn't do too badly, but when Maidenhead scored and we needed to battle we didn't want to know. Danny O'Donnell is complete and utter dog shit (yet he's still marginally better than Williams), I don't think Reynolds is half as good as we thought he might be, Lacey is nowhere near good enough, Edwards is getting worse by the week and is a shadow of the player he was a few years ago, only Burns can hold his head up out of the current squad. I feel sorry for Arnison, he's clearly just a goal scorer and his record tells you that but he's getting absolutely zero to work with. Massive changes are needed, there are only 3 possibly 4 players that I'd keep out of this squad.

I don't envy Edmo's job, if you take away the liquidation season when Westley and Beck took over I think this is the hardest job I can ever remember any incoming Barrow manager to have on his hands. Hopefully he'll have seen enough today to know changes are needed, and quickly.

Never mind Edmondson Harry Potter couldn't make this lot into a football team worst set of players with exception of Burns I have ever seen in 35 years watching the bluebirds.

Yes it was dire today. Maidenhead were anonymous until they scored, but once they did we had no idea how to create an equaliser.

IMO only players I'd keep out of this squad (putting to one side who and who isn't contracted for the whole season) are Burns, McMillan, Arnison, Ray-Harvey, Sheridan & possibly Edwards (although he's now a shadow of the player he once was). Don't think Meechan should play again except in an absolute emergency! Lacey is full of endeavour, but simply not good enough.

We're by no means great at the back, but our main problem short-term for me is that we are shot shy. If the budget allows - probably dependent on some of the dross being shipped out - we need a couple of wingers & a decent striker ASAP.
This response summed matters up in one, with add on of a gnaly midfielder with a bit of steel in his veins. Reynolds with a good old experienced central defender alongside him would progress IMO.
Edmo, does have a mammoth task on his hands turning our club around. But to expect miracles after one game is to much to ask the task is bigger than some people realise.

I remember when we signed him there was a post from a Wukkie supporter to say that most of his goals had been from the penalty spot.

Could have been sour grapes but on the other hand...

Embarrassing.

Mcmillan (maybe) Burns, Eddie (maybe)

Sheridan (if he pulls his finger out)

Arnison (if he plays with a partner)

The rest of you- [SwearFilter] off you imposters, cowards, tossers, excuses for players. You are a disgrace, I never want to see you again at Barrow you useless mercenaries,

NO WAY SHOULD RAY HARVEY COME BACK YOU INSULTING LITTLE GIMP. NEVER COME BACK

We were set out O.K first half.

Good luck in the next round Maidenhead, decent fans who made the long trip, you too have a rubbish team but not as spineless as ours

But at least they got their pizzas eh. [SwearFilter], they pollute our club with their presence.

All these people that say they are not coming back fine but think, there might not be a team to follow if everyone takes that attitude and be honest what did you expect I'm glad it happened because at least edmo now knows the score!
Real fans stick with the team through good and bad times
If you don't like things let the board know at the a.g.m. but as usual i doubt most of you will! and before you respond yes i do let my feelings known but whinging on here will change nothing!

Every supporter whether they come once or 100 times is important to this club.

Easy to say when you're in exile, Jim.

People talk about football clubs like they're dear family members.

They're not. They're businesses and like other businesses, if they're badly run, they suffer.

Football has changed. The price of undying love and loyalty has gone up and that tests it to the limit when performances are consistently dreadful for 2.5 years.

Deal with it.
