Trust Meeting Thursday 1st

Post by Bluebirds Trust » Mon Oct 29, 2018 8:25 pm

The Trust board will be meeting at 7pm at the Crossbar to informally discuss the situation regarding the future ownership of the club and how and if the Trust and fans should be part of it. We welcome all fans, regardless if they are Trust members or not, to come along and join in the discusssion and let us know your views.

For those unable to attend who want to get involved please let us know your views by email to info@bluebirdstrust.co.uk and we will feed those thoughts into the discussion.

A good meeting of fans and one where we were able to outline a good bit more of where Paul Hornby 'is' in terms on attracting investment. Lots of discussion on different amounts of investment/fan involvement- some good points which the meeting wanted PH to clarify. He wasn't there btw, just provided some further info.

Thanks for all the e-mails and offers of help with various things. Also, great to see a decent mix of ages last night- 18-quite a bit older- you'd have struggled to get a better cross section.

PH, I find, is very keen to be transparent as possible- no disrespect to previous regimes but in terms of just 'answering a question' it's refreshing compared to the last 10 years really. What we as a Trust will do now is collate the information and opinions and share them in some manner.

Also thanks to Iain for giving us an update- some great, common sense ideas to improve things and generate money for the club. Also speaking to Ryan, increase in take up for corporate very pleasing- it all helps.

More to follow after the weekend.
