first visit yesterday - Blog Post and photos

Postby stuartnoel » Sun Feb 07, 2010 1:34 pm

Came to the game yesterday - first time for The Ball is Round...first half was OK - can't really comment on the second as it was too foggy to see! Have to say Barrow were unlucky not to get at least a point. Photos and blog post can be seen at http://theballisround.co.uk

Good luck for rest of the season.

An excellent read, thank you for posting!

PS, a much, much higher standard of writing quality, research and understanding of our fans than our local press has ever managed.
Some say it's a black hole, but this town is a place we call home. Some says it's a black hole, but they'll never know.

Thanks....I was suitably shocked of what I heard about some of the banning orders and have agreed with a couple of the fans to write something about this in the near future....Thanks to everyone who spared a minute to chat to us though...

Good but we have got a bus depot, which is next door to Holker Street and we didn't finish bottom in May '72. We were third from bottom.

It was a good read ... nice to see that advert for Chewits and the bus depot actually looked like the old bus depot that used to be next to the rugby ground.

Decent effort, cheers.

Good photos too, though I'm pretty sure the mountain you pictured isn't Scafell Pike (which doesn't have an 'r' by the way).

Good stuff indeed.

Sorry about the fog; it is usually blown away by a Force 10 Gale or washed away by torrential rain! Or both together, come to think of it.
