Re: What has gone wrong, Who’s to blame
Well said Matty, even when we were in the EFL , I always felt that as a club we didn't appear to understand that we were actually a part of it, we should ( if we'd planned) be easily a mid table team but then we kept hearing we want league 1 etc when as others have pointed out we were still very muc...

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
Unless it’s not his choice it baffles me Harper and Jackson are still here, I couldn’t think of two less Adam Murray type players 100% agree with this. They should have been the 1st 2 that were told to find another club. Both have been awful for a long long time We just cant go through the same cyc...

Re: Sending off
1 major development at the ground in over 30 years and that was a roof. Not counting the temp commonwealth games shelters. Location could definitely put investors off. Personally as a start, I’d be putting videos on social media selling that the club is actually based in Manchester. More behind the...

Re: Whitfield
Any decent footballer wouldn't want to play in a team that plays the way Murray does, it's anti football !Main Stand SeasonTct wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2026 9:44 pmWhits wanted to leaveCraigthered wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2026 9:42 pm If course he does just off the bench too but not good enough for us apparently

Re: Sending off
Harrogate as a club are in a much better position financially than we are. Lancaster play at a lower level so investment wise it wouldn’t take as much money to invest in an NPL semi professional club than it would ourselves. Added to the fact both access wise are much easier to get to and much more...

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
We've got three management team appointments right since Kenny Lowe. And Rob Kelly. Got to hold our nerve. We tried the revolving approach last year and it was cataclysmic Get what your saying but it's up to Murray now he does enough talking! As Elvis said "a little less conversation and a bit...

Re: Sending off
No it was a matter of time. MJ has history for silly red cards, Scott Smiths only consistency is getting booked each week even when not playing! We commit so many fouls and a lot unnecessary and blatant, it was inevitable and suspensions will soon start racking up and hurting us. We’re not even par...

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
Just listened to Murray's interview, it's excuse after excuse he's on about leaders, being ruthless well on tackling we're up there with the best at fouling etc but let's get to the cruxt of the matter, these players were signed by Murray he bigged them up yet when push comes to shuv some Just Aren'...

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
Hornby in his time as Chairman has appointed one manager that has been semi successful! that being Wild. Surely theres no belief that sacking Murray would mean he gets any further recruitment right. Personally we have to stick with Murray but it needs to improve massively starting Saturday. Long te...

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
So Murray goes but all his signings stay, not counting Lane only on loan, I was hoping we could stay around the play-offs to keep the interest but many aren`t going to watch that dross, how is it possible to sign so many players not National League Standard, from nearly league 2 play-offs to now lo...

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
That tonight was a real reality check of where we are. We either stick or twist and I don’t think twisting will be any better than all the attempts at it last season. Plus we just don’t have the energy or the resources to do it all again. Jonty if we go down to conference north the club would be in...

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
I'm sorry but what are people expecting to change on Saturday? Murray constantly changes the team, bringing in different players every week it's a shambles, his idea of football is shocking he says he does a high press that has only happened twice Sutton and Yeovil, that second half on Saturday and ...
