There's a huge difference between a flare and a smoke bomb Any kind of flare, smoke bomb or firework it doesn't matter. In connection with taking one into a football ground, the law pretty much treats them all as equal. Workington fans let themselves down today. As did the barrow fans on Boxing Day.
