Murray said on RC that that was his first experience of the wind (blowing towards the Holker Street End as it does 9 times out of 10). He needs to be aware of this, as winter is coming and there'll be days like these . . . many more days like these. So, yes, we struggled in the first half but hardl...

And played in the win against Morecambe today

Signed for Radcliffe

It may not be important but I do wonder why we don't choose to play towards the Holker Street end in the second half when we win the toss? Do they still toss a coin? Either way we seem to choose not to take that option. You don't see Liverpool choosing to attack the Anfield Road end in the second ha...

I'm afraid Murray is going to have to bite the bullet if no one comes in for Barkhuizen and Earing. They need to be reintegrated into the squad. Kouyate came on yesterday and I thought he was also on the 'not wanted' list? Barkhuizen was the poison in the squad last season so it would be more than ...

I really have tried to look at Jackson and Smith in a different light, but sweet Jesus. Jackson will NEVER be a footballer. He's completely useless and is stealing a wage. I was never convinced by Smith but I heard others talk well of him...they were full of shite. That was a sweet shot by Kizzy(?)...

Awful match between 2 poor teams but maybe that is because all the teams in this league are poor. However, based on today, I would be surprised to see either team finish in the top 10. As far as I could see, we have 2 big central defenders who will win almost everything in the air and give fouls aw...

Murray said in his post-match interview that he was disappointed his big players didn't turn up today.
I would ask him why he didn't start with two of his big signings (Reid and Marriott) instead of two players who showed nothing for Barrow throughout the whole of last season (Cameron and Smith)?

Careful what you wish for.
This squad has been together all preseason and has a great bond.
Bringing a new player in at this late stage could upset the balance.
In Murray we trust.

I saw him outside the ground last week, and he seemed in good spirits, so it must be a minor injury!

Thanks Nige

Is Scott Smith injured?

Smith would be quality at this level, Shipley was steady in the league above at times and Cameron has been banging them in for fun in Scotland, be daft not to have a look at him pre season. Kouyate and barkhuizen should of been binned months ago Agree smith and Shipley could be decent at this level...

Maybe convert Smith into a R full back

The rest can FRO

You've got to be joking.
Is that the same Smith who showed the Newport winger inside to score the winner on Saturday.
He's too small, can't head the ball, can't tackle and picks up a booking early in most games

The whole 'get shot of the lot the them' thing is understandable, but a bit daft since many are contracted, plus we can't really start the season with zero players. Stanway was promising but probably needed another season as a no. 2. Too many howlers this season though - and too much bad feeling no...
