I personally think Whitfield is a spent force. Certainly not the player he was, on saturday he was dreadful i was surprised he stayed on for so long. Free's up a bit of money, the two new wingers (Thompson & Mooney) looked lively. Think this will workout for us in the long run.

Having watched the last two games I agree with the 'statement' we do look a decent side and I hope/think once we get the monkey off our back we will go on a little run.

3 left backs on the books seems excessive. Wonder if Jackson is leaving?
Haven't managed to get to a friendly have we been playing a 4 at the back or a 5?

Interesting one. Not sure i would have been desperate to keep him however he seems to have found a little bit of form as a old school left midfielder in a 442.

Time to give Wyll a rest one too many mistakes. The 442 looks much better, personally i think Jackson should play on he left and Thompson should fill in at RB. If we can get MJ Williams fit to play alongside McCann and free him up that would help. Danny Rose took his goal well last night and he shou...

I've followed the thread on X but can't see that this question was asked? Can we expect to see a change of tactics (4 at the back) moving forward? If it was asked and brushed off with recruitment that's [SwearFilter] for the 2nd half of the harrogate game we played a 442 with Thompson at RB and for...

I can’t make the Q&A but can someone ask who’s forcing 3 at the back (I’m guessing Wood)? There’s no way 4 coaches in Whing, Macdonald, Gallagher and Maamria have looked at that squad and the form it’s been in and thought that’s the best system to play. It’s meant to sure you up at the back and...

That is the formation Flash Score have us playing.

5-3-2

Fair play to the manager realised after 30 mins the shape was all wrong. Earing was rightfully dragged he was having a shocker. I didn't agree with Barkhuizen coming off for Mahoney especially in a 442, Tom's ability to get to the by line and whip balls in should be exactly what the two centers forw...

Ref was bad yes but can’t just use that as an excuse. Ben Whitfield must be wondering what more can he do; that first half he played ball after ball into the box (which has been rare enough this season!) and no-one bothering to burst a gut to get onto the end of it, as Craig Rutherford said afterwa...

The 'Barrow Index' must be good. Signs players we've already had all time! I was never the greatest lover of Josh Gordon first time round. He has scored 2 goal since leaving us in 2 years. Our recruitment continues to baffle....

We need a full back. every team needs to be able to go to a 4-4-2.. or 4-3-3. Either way, both barhuizsen and Whitfield are wasted in this current system. Seemingly everyone sees this apart from Whing? We need to sign Tyler smith. No pace up front currently. Whits up there today ? But he’s not a st...

Aye that was a while ago you'd like to think the picture has since changed. Maybe we can get an injury update from the manager next time he's interviewed few players not featured since clemence likes of Fletcher, etc.

Great result.

Spence back to his best. For me Gotts is playing the best football of his Barrow career. Newby worked his socks off.

Pressley impressed tonight held the ball up really well, unlucky not to get off the mark.

How good is it to have Whitfield back what a difference he makes!

Curious to know if the lad is available or if he's had another set back?
