It would help if the away fans turnstile was open.

I passed at 2.20. There were 3 Macc fans outside that couldn't get in so they went through the home turnstile.

Not surprising they ended up in the home end !!!!!

Yet again that is down to poor organisation from the club.
We left the soccer bar at 2.50 away fans were asking were they should go, we told them, but they still ended up in front of us at Xbar end, going in in front of us without being stopped .

I really hope Paul casson reads this.
If he does my message is that the safety officer is absolutely clueless, he never segregated today.
Why??
He's been doing his job for years and couldn't make a call.
Whilst his stewards were struggling he hid in his little box like a coward.
People like him are unprofessional, you want us to be more professional as a club and yet people like him hold us back . So get rid.
He will no doubt come up with weak excuses, but Macclesfield have been here plenty of times in his reign and he proved today he's clueless.
In my opinion he wants trouble to kick off to justify his poor existence.


Our stewards were weak and bullied today by away fans that were drinking and being abusive whilst in our [SwearFilter] end of the ground..
It's your job mike forsyth to train and educate these volunteers, you failed, resign.
It's not actually the stewards fault, it's the guidance they receive

The young PC was excellent today. Shame his senior colleagues were not as fast acting. Only turned up once everything had calmed down.

Clearly the club took their eye off the ball regarding potential conflict, probably due to the family theme to the day! Saw the young PC race round when it kicked off think he had his undies on the out side of his uniform AKA Supercop and then Constable Jones and Barass appear around several minutes later. Obviously enjoying the hospitality elsewhere unless police intelligence failed on this instance. Also it's about time we stopped victimising individuals and treat everyone as equals something else I have noticed from afar!!!!

Get your point but after they got in not to segregate them was utter stupidity and the person in charge should resign or be sacked no question on this ,it could have ended up with someone ending up in hospital,i hope the club will comment on this as they were quick (and rightly so)to do so after chester away.

Today showed me what everyone has been going on about for a long time. The police and stewards are only interested in what Barrow fans do not away fans. Today Macclesfield fans stood on the Holker End in front of stewards drinking from glass bottles. Stewards stood yards from them doing nothing. Why? All I want to know is why they did nothing about it. Forsyth???

At the start of the season if someone would have asked me to identify games where we would need segregation at the FBSS I would nominate Chelteham, Tranmere, Grimsby, Chester and Macclesfield. That was a farce yesterday, but it says a lot about non league that it wasn’t a pitched battle with bodies everywhere. There was goading and a bit of pushing, but no significant violence that I saw – luckily.

I usually make my way along the HSE terraces at the end of a game to exit, and through the away supporters; generally speaking they are good natured folk which is a great aspect of non league I think.
