Look at the picture, non of them are wearing blue and white.

No plans to segregate but some Macclesfield fans managed to get into Holker Street end as they were wearing blue and white.
That does not make sense.

Thought the Macc Lads were okay really it wasn’t their fault they were given access to the home end, then had to go into the unprepared segregated area with no refreshments available. The racist bad blood wasn't initially of their doing but their cockney [SwearFilter] of a manager at the time. Luckily no one ended up with injuries or bans due to the chronic lack of safety planning. I would say Macc were giving it the medium one which had the potential to border on the large one but for the intervention of that copper who was a small one.

That is the stupidest thing I think I have ever heard. How can those two points be in that sentence ? . If fans kindly met each other at the end of the ground then that should be problem solved shouldn't it? The club didn't segregate it, but a group of fans kindly segregated themselves in the HS end. Job Jobbed.

"Lessons are still being learned" etc etc etc. There is so much incompetence being hidden at the club it's unreal. Completely stuck in first gear and completely unprepared for anything. ( Promotion anyone?)

Segregation away from Holker Street had been somewhere hit-and-miss this season; some games have been segregated, some have not, and others somewhere in between.

At Guiseley, there was no indication at the ground that the game was segregated, with the result that some Barrow fans were allowed in the home end, others weren't. And, conversely, some Guiseley supporters were in the away end. Barrow supporters who wanted to sit had to go in the Guiseley supporters' stand. Then there was a good natured movement into the right areas at half time, but this seemed to be on a voluntary basis.

Then at Aldershot, we were told on entering the ground that there was no segregation and we could stand or sit where we wanted, and indeed the catering and toilet facilities were common to both sets of supporters. But at half time, some - but by no means all - of us were moved from the area where we were standing because away supporters weren't allowed there!

And as to Boreham Wood - has anyone worked out why such a small crowd was segregated?

I still get hassle from Chorley fans about when they came to barrow on a Tuesday night. 20 of them stood in [SwearFilter] rain segregated. No half time pint. We evidently have to work on this from the bottom (Forsyth) and make it work. It's a simple procedure and fans need to feel safe. Shame as this kind of topic as with Chester overrides a game.

As for stewards, I get they have a job to do but sometimes a hi viz jacket makes folk think they are out of a marvel comic.

Absolute crap from Straker,the club have a duty of care irrespective of what the Police think,

To say they failed to do this is the understatement of the year,all he`s doing is patronising his own fans,if some one had been maimed,seriously injured does he think the National League,F.A. would except his feeble excuse?

No explanation of why after they went into the barrow end the stewards made no attempt to move them,even when the barrow fans came round again no attempt to move them,no mention of them getting in whilst being obviously drunk,no mention of drinking out of bottles in the ground.

Mr Strakers off the cuff remarks smack of a lack of professionalism and no realisation of what (because of utter incompetence) could have unfolded.


This isn`t good enough and makes the club look hypercritical after what`s wrote on the main website regarding what`s acceptable in our stadium.

The fans deservr better than this, poor Mr Straker very poor!

Its not just segregation that Mike Forsythe and co. can't do properly.
A few weeks ago (unsure which game) the ref had given a few decisions against Barrow which irked some of the Popular Side and someone in the vicinity of the Press Box called the ref a bent [SwearFilter]. On hearing this Mike Forsythe (or possibly one of the stewards) tried to get the person thrown out of the ground for homophobic chanting.
The police came along and told him there was no way he could say that was homophobic chanting.
Lets not forget they tried things on with searching people they weren't allowed to do earlier in the season as well.
They'll try anything they can to try and get our own fans chucked out.

amazes me every one comes on here slagging the club,forsyth and the stewards but non of you would ever dream of volunteering to help by putting a jacket on.
