Comments from the Fleet forum
This is about the worst thing that the organisers could do. Suspending the vote while clubs from the ‘less popular’ end of the footballing spectrum are winning could leave them open to charges of vote rigging.
It appears obvious that they would prefer a more high profile club to win so this move looks like they are trying to find an excuse to back out.
I don’t believe that in this day and age that they didn’t consider multiple votes from a single person before they decided on the competition.
It would seem that they didn’t consider that we are an internet owned club that took 25,000 supporters to Wembley 3 years ago, before they let us enter. They also seem to have misread the passion that most non-league supports have for their clubs.
Exactly, Barrow and Ebbsfleet are probably the last two they expected to be the frontrunners, thus they suspect 'Dodgy' voting from both clubs supporters, Had their email reply system been up to the job and not crashed meaning hundreds of fans thought their votes had not been registered and thus tried again resulted in cheating allegations.
This competition is at risk of going down the pan.

Re: Best Loo-ser competition
They'd have been better off giving £20k to each of the 5 clubs, in exchange for an article in the local media, club website and a couple of advertising boards around the new bogs.

... and Sheffield United have gone up to five. What is going on? There should be a full investigation.boyliegladbach wrote:Weve gone down about 200 since it went off
Re: Best Loo-ser competition
Have now got to provide full name, address and phone number to cast a vote. Can't see as many people voting now, I don't think many people will be willing to share personal details across the internet so readily, not enough to overhaul that lead anyway.
Ebbfleet will win this by virtue of the fact they were in a good lead before this change came in.
For the record we are on 1853, Ebbsfleet on 2507
Now if we had 1853 members.....

Any chance of a photograph to show how bad "the heads" situation is there?

Agreed. The whole thing is a farce and has been since virtually the start. No to modern toilet competitions.Jonty wrote:Ebbfleet will win this by virtue of the fact they were in a good lead before this change came in.
Re: Best Loo-ser competition
Just abandon the internet voting nonsense and let each team send a representative to see who can pee highest up a wall.
It would have to be a bloke (sorry ladies but you can't really compete)
Also sorry if this has already been suggested- I haven't waded through all 21 pages.
