Re: Forum Sponsorship Syndicate
They are indeed Geoff, saw the email saying your payment had come through but not had a chance to check it's cleared yet or update the total.
Many thanks for the donation - That puts us bang on £5100 which by my maths is 34 entries - superb effort all round guys, thankyou so so much!

That's a pretty amazing amount from what is basically just forum members, not forgetting the fantastic donation by Geoff.
Well done Ste for running it & keeping it in everyones mind, really impressive.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Surely more than 10 people donated to the fund will you have to have a draw for the ten people or something else?

Re: Forum Sponsorship Syndicate
Whats happening to 1st prize. I reckon a local company would pay a few hundred for it.
I think that if he wants to, that Geoff Payne should get one if corporate places if he wants it. Noticed that he said he was over here at start of season.

great start to season.Well done everyone.
Seasons to be cheerful.Part 16 3/4
Re: Forum Sponsorship Syndicate
As I was involved fairly heavily at the start of this project, just like to say congratulations on the 2 prizes.
I think the draw has been a success, and this is thanks to the efforts of this syndicate and all the other local businesses who got involved.
From my point of view with my previous hat on, a special thanks to a couple of people in particular, Steve Story for his administration of the scheme, and secondly for his own personal contribution to the pot, Geoff Payne, what a man!
I think the amount raised by the fans for our club shows just how much passion still exists, let's hope a couple of hundred more get caught up in the excitement this season.
Thanks again, oh and Steve how do I change my username, probably needs an "ex" in front of it now

Re: Forum Sponsorship Syndicate
We talked about it at page one in this thread. I think people should sign up if they want to be included in the draw.barrowfan_chris wrote:Firsty congradulations.Ste Story wrote:3rd prize - 10 free corporate places, presumerably for any game this season.

Re: Forum Sponsorship Syndicate
Will probably do a draw the corporate tickets, not sure how that'll work just yet.
As for what goes on the shorts, i'm trying to work out the best way to do it - whether to just put a logo with "Barrowafc.net Fans Syndicate" on it or try and sell it on to another company and get some more money in, or what. Any ideas/thoughts please feel free to post here or drop me a PM.
