Newport Video
There's video hilights of the match here:-

Well deserved victory, Barrow were the better side on the day.
Great performance by your keeper and the defence in general. Think our manager got the tactics wrong in the second half putting on too many attacking players leaving the final third of the pitch too overcrowded. Hopefully normal service will be resumed at Woking on Tuesday.
Best of luck for the remainder of the season.

Re: Newport Video
Oops hadn't spotted the video link had already been posted.
Re: Newport Video
Its okay. i think the earlier posting is a different link... to one of our club's now famous "highlights" videos, where you can be sure that "highlights" actually only means "goals".

Re: Newport Video
Shows really good battle from Barrow and Newport did seem to get down flanks a bit easy but couldn't convert to goals thanks to Hurst and players getting bodies in way....thats commitment

Re: Newport Video
Nice to watch 10 mins of "unbiased" editing. Considering we had more possession and their fans and commenators said we deserved the win, it looked like we took a real battering and only had two attacks !! Anyway, 2-0 to the good guys.

Re: Newport Video
Excellent - extended highlights with commentary. Thank you.
Not guaranteed to be on but it may be worth setting your PVR for Sgorio at 22:00 tonight on S4C although I think they only cover WPL matches nowadays. Available in England, Scotland and NI on Freesat (120) Sky (134) and Virgin TV (167). If you have line of sight to a Welsh transmitter your Freeview box may have found it and stored it in the 300s or 800s depending on make of box. In Wales S4C is on Freeview (4) Freesat (104) Sky (104) Vigin Cable (167) but if you are in Wales you probably know that! May also be available later online.

Didn't spot it on the day but I see the first goal was offside.
The match videos are a free service provided by supporters of the club at all home and away matches and the commentary is again provided as a free service at all matches by supporters in conjunction with a local internet radio station - so they can be excused a little bias towards County I think.Nice to watch 10 mins of "unbiased" editing. Re: Newport Video
There was only one County player behind the "scorer".
Re: Newport Video
When the ball went into the net, yes. Not when the ball was played.
Here the ball (circled) has just been played and there is clearly another county player in line with the Barrow player (who may or may not have even touched the ball as it went in).
The Barrow player is moving toward the goal, so as the ball goes in he is indeed on the line, but he's onside when the ball was played... which is, I believe, the rule.
