Re: New Merch - opinions
The idea is great- I like Dave's design- but In Blue, die cast enamel with butterfly fitting and nice and simple!
and replace the inner stars ring with just another bold ring and replace the two stars with a couple of Lancs roses or '90 - '10
Words around "BARROW AFC"
then we're getting someplace. !
and I'm good for £3/£4
this firm will do 100 16mm die cast enamel pin badges for £142.50, so there's profit there to be made!

Like Jonny says, they need to be small enough. The ones in the shop are too big.
But good on you for doing a few runs of this and that Pete, folk like different stuff.

Re: New Merch - opinions
We have ordered a small run of the first badge, and have some quotes in for some more traditional "club crest" enamel badges for the more traditional fan.
I will certainly be looking to do a small run of Daves excellent design next. the supplier has quoted broadly the same as what Jonty found. Good times

I like that one in that colour.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Re: New Merch - opinions
Just thinking Peter, Ste's canvas prints obviously sold very well on here to a "limited audience" what about a little selection in the shop?Uncle Peter wrote:Evening all.
At the AGM myself, Rich Ingham and Steve Patten discussed what we could look at getting to restock the shop. it was decided to start with pin badges as they are cheap, and we get asked for them by away fans who want a memento of their trip to Holker Street.
With that in mind, i've sourced the attached.
Need two things really, firstly would you buy it and secondly how much would you pay. Bear in mind that this is a just mock up.
Cheers

Make the shop look much better stocked & with quality stuff as well.

Having re-read that Peter I now realise you must've meant the BDF shop, I was thinking of the canvas's being sold in the club shop which I think would look pretty good & fill up a few empty spaces.spirit of 1990 wrote:Just thinking Peter, Ste's canvas prints obviously sold very well on here to a "limited audience" what about a little selection in the shop?Uncle Peter wrote:Evening all.

As I say I'm sure there'd be more sold to a wider audience rather than just forum members.

More my cup of tea that, yeah
Massively agree about canvases in the shop.
Indeed they would look amazing along that bare corridor that we should be using to remind visitors with pictures of our club's culture.

Re: New Merch - opinions
We'll get there eventually Manxy. With having little start up capital we have to take small steps and start with the smaller items, reinvesting the profits as we go. The more of you that buy Ste's canvasses, the badges etc that we will be getting in, the quicker we will get to supplying the bigger items.
