I know it's not what most people would have been looking/hoping for but there's nothing like the usual positive response to make a new signing or potential new signing feel welcome. It's no wonder players change their mind or won't even consider coming here and if people on here think none of these players look on here to see what the so called supporters response to them is, they should think again. Welcome back Lee and as long as you give us 100% and bag a few before the end of the season (and one at Wembley again), then you'll do for me. Good luck big fella.

Yeah, because we're the only club with an unofficial forum and opinionated posters

Every club is the same, we're no different!

I've seen that argument trotted out scores of time and it's so flawed, I'm amazed it's still used.

He knows the club- he knows what's needed and nothing will faze him. He won't freeze on the run in when we need big characters and experience. Mac fits that bill- If he's fit- why not. He can do a job for us for the rest of the season. Good luck.

Bales has added experience- O'Donnel / Rowe / Mcevilly and that will see us good for the battle ahead.

Rather this than a lad out of favour with his club and de-motivated coming into Barrow.

Thought we might have signed Lee McEvilly back on to boost our very thin trophy squad, but he played for Warrington against Leek in one of the earlier rounds so is another cup tied recruit.

Reckon we will use him as an impact player from the bench to hustle and bustle defenders. experienced guy. When was the last time anyone saw him play? Different types of players for different teams. score a few important goals and he will no doubt be hailed a hero again.Very fickle are us football fans.so he wasn't the 3rd striker we expected.Big deal.Drogba didnt fancy the 3rd striker role.get real. Two main strikers will be Boyes and Rowe.Welcome to the pressure cooker again Lee.

Come on everybody give him a chance you never know he might just pull us out of this mess we are in,the BOD and manager are to blame not him.I feel as though the supporters are doing everything to help the club but the club are not doing anything, lets have a good turn out tomorrow and show luton how good we really are :scarf:

After some thought he may be able to hold the ball up-he's big and strong and if fit i think we may get something out of him.
I for one says-WELCOME LEE you can do a job for us. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

We were told about this on tuesday night and everyone thought it was a wind up!,even bayliss allegedly said"at least he will fill the bench!" to be honest i can`t believe it i would rather pay to watch a local lad and some people have blue tinted glasses on, the only reason we signed him is because he is playing for expenses only, bafc says don`t make rash promises has he spoken to hoskins?

only" playing for expenses".Cant really complain then can we? Wembley hero. Any local lads with his playing experience? Thought not. Very fickle us lot aren't we? ;) And Reg will be happy to hear financial suicide has been curtailed with arrangement of finances.
