Feel this pain, this anguish and threat of impending doom.

And just imaging surviving, with a last day spectacular.

Nearly impossible to imaging just now, but......

Nope. No chance. I tried.

Keep walking Bayliss, not just passed Andy Wood, but out of the job. When we are in the shit like we are, a manager needs to grow a pair and admit when it was rubbish, not just sulk and send his assistant up to face the media. Thank you for all you have done, the promotion will never be forgotten, but unfortunately now is the time to part company.
everyone is entitled to their opinion, deal with it

see gaffers post- what Hoskin said. That's why I feel sorry for him. You think he lacks passion and desire to move this club forward? He needs a bloody medal. Hindered by embargo's and off field drama.

He's tried to build a team on the back of a close season when the club shut down. That is the root cause of this. 850 crowds and nothing coming out of the club last summer. This is what it comes back to and now it's caught up with us.

But I will tell you, it's come true.
You have tonight got your wish...........sorry.
Just because we have gone down, it doesn't mean it was the plan all along!

I don't want to argue with you mate. We're all hurting, we all just see things differently.

What can't be argued is that the club has been appallingly managed both on and off the field for 18 months now!
Agree Reg, it hurts like shit to see the club I have loved for most of my life,to have come to this cowardly, pathetic, gutless ending, surrender tonight. But I stand by what I say.

I do, very much so.

But I still think its now time for him to go, its for the best for him and the club if thats what happens.

That said, for me he'll go down as a legend for what we've achieved during his time here and for the sheer passion he's shown for the club.

Beaten by a team with desire who knew what was required and did it.Also another part time team who were fitter and faster than Barrow, what the hell do we do in training?
"we'll draw a line under it and start again" Ash.....how many times have we drawn this line this season and latter part of last season,we have been poor for over 12 months and nothing has really changed.
Sorry for all supporters that went tonite and all listening in ,you deserve better than that :(

The writing was on the wall from pre-season when the club just shut down completely, nothing from the BoD lead into nothing from the pitch, clubs dying in front of your eyes.
At least Mad Russell can hold on to a lead easier than BAFC

If tonight was a must win then we don't look good for the last two matches, which will definitely put us down if we fail to win them. 4 points from safety and a poor goal difference means we need at least 5 points to be safe so 2 wins from 2 is a must. It could still go our way as a few of these sides play each other but that could also put it beyond us. Not looking good at all after tonight.

Glad to hear an honest appraisal of the performance by Hoskins, in a word "embarrassing".

Too many times we see sides come to Holker St (FBSS) and even when they are several goals down into injury time they are still showing energy and commitment to get forward and get a goal. Barrow just don't do that, and I don't recall a Barrow team in the last couple of decades that ever did in those situations. If Saturday summed up our season, tonight's game was a continuation of how that game ended. Heads drop too easily and panic sets in with poor clearances when a simple ball would have done. Andy Wood saying many times tonight that Barrow lads taking too long to clear a ball. Come on Barrow show some pride and pick yourselves up for Saturday. It might be too late but go out fighting!

I heard on Sunday night that Darren Edmondson is being lined up.
Edmo still have 12 months left on his contract so would cost money to buy him out.

Club shut down over summer/ no energy coming out the club / off field rumours of financial issues / heavy burden of no news of ground re-development / no kit / embargos / losing key players / poor crowds at the start of the season (unheard of) / no money as a result.

there you go Bayles- good luck putting a team together, but this is the situation.

Bayliss not involved with any of this. it was a terrible way to start the season and must have been very difficult for him at a time when he was going it alone without Sheridan.

It's not as easy as that with contracts in football (lambert to villa) the club still holds the managers registration. And for the record you would be welcome to him in my eyes.

Agree completely. Yes he has to take some responsibility over a 46 game season but you can only work with what you have and it is certainly not his fault he and Shez were left with little to pick from if the pre season embargo rumour is true. Yes it looks like he has struggled a little since Sheridan went, but it should not be forgotten what he has given this club for the past 5 and a bit seasons. If it is time to part ways because we go down which sadly now seems almost certain, he cannot be accused of not giving his all for this club, which is more than can be said for some of the spineless wasters that have pulled on our shirt this season (yes I mean you Mc Con-man and you 'think I'll go missing till we get a free kick or penalty" Baker, amongst others) If you do end up leaving D.B then good luck to you but please make sure you go to a club whose board can run a [SwearFilter] up in a brewery.
