Players going into schools

Post by Ste Story » Thu Apr 18, 2013 12:25 pm

Seen from twitter that a few players have "adopted" schools and are going in to them today to hopefully engage with the kids and drum up some enthusiasm and support.

Can't help but feel it's a bit late with most of them not going to be here next season, but a positive thing nontheless and something we need to be looking at more next season!

Nice idea but about a million years too late.

Come on down kids and witness your first relegation!

Months too late, should have been done at the start of the season. These players have only got 1 game left for Barrow

At the very least the club are aware that they need to do this so hopefully the new set of players will be asked to perform the same task this coming August.

They would need to be in a coma "not to be aware"
At least Mad Russell can hold on to a lead easier than BAFC

A nothingness excersice from players who have consistantly failed to deliver. The new Team from August should be inducted to schools from the outset

Wow. What a wonderfully positive thread.

I asked for one to come into our school and heard nothing. So yet again we miss out.

If we're going to be part-time though most of the players will be tied up with their 9-5 jobs during school time surely???
