Did anybody notice the complete tool of a Brackley fan in the white top kicking the hell out of the HSE cladding in the first half leaving several dint's in it.

Why did you not locate a steward or police offer and bring this to their attention, hope someone video'd him damaging club property ?

Behave Mike!

Imagine the fuss Barrow supporters would make if one of our fans were to attract the attention of the law for doing something similar.

There was a steward within about 25 yards of him he started to walk towards him when the goon stopped banging the steward stopped and went back to his original position.

Yes, but he started kicking it again and the steward did speak to him and he looked at it and didn't do it again. There were three stewards policing about 6/8 fans and one young lad was taken to the naughty corner for a while but I don't know what he had done.
The cheeky devils even had their flag hanging off the Holker Street End sign practically obscuring it. That shouldn't have been allowed.

Yes Elaine, running a little late but Tommy will be opening up on time.

Regarding the cladding, I think the stewards should in future be looking at putting a couple of themselves around ANY away supporters that stand on the HSE. I'm not bothered too much about the time that went into doing the cladding but what I am bothered about is the cost! It's bad enough seeing fresh dent's through balls hitting it without some [SwearFilter] idiot deciding to kick it with the back of his feet - he knew the damage it was doing & as Mike say's - he was damaging club property.

Mrssenorita & Ian (white van joiner) put some more signs up today & also secured the bottoms of the ones that we put up last week, which apparently nearly had the game cancelled because they were loose & flapping in the wind

Big Al was fixing one of the toilet doors......and finding more job's for us!

Elaine & les were cleaning up in the dressing room area's.

Whitty 1969 had a wander around picking up some of the rubbish that was thrown around yesterday. Well done to everyone who managed to miss the bins with their empty cups & cans. I don't think anyone has picked all that up so it'll probably still be there next home game.

Wintergreen came down to have a look at that overflow problem by the side path but never saw him later to see what can be done with it, hope we never locked him in!

I went to Askam with Ian (red van joiner) to see if the gates we've bought for the pop side will fit on a trailer he's going to borrow, hopefully it looks like they will so we should have them back at the ground in the next week or so.

Then JCubb, his lad (Moz??) & myself went through to Ulverston to load our new (used) trailer onto his trailer to get that one back to the ground. This will also need work doing on it but with Jez finishing his work on the smaller one we'll now have trailers big enough to cover most transporting jobs, one with sides on & one just flat back to move sheets of plywood etc.
Still after a couple of Mini tyres if anyone can help out, two trailers & no tyres at the moment.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Would a boxing ring in the x bar be viable?

Les was doing the washing and I was hoovering and keeping my eye on Wintergreen, up in the loft. He replaced the washer but it needs a new ballcock as the one that's on is bent to almost a right angle. He found it difficult as he couldn't drain the water off as Les had the washer on so he was working with the tank full. I noticed when I left that it wasn't dripping but that could just be a short term repair. Better if it is done properly and he will do so when I can sort out someone to be a the club when Les isn't there washing.
Many thanks Wintergreen. It will be great not to see water flowing around the boiler room area.

Now I need a plumber to stop the leak from the u-bend on the sink in the directors toilet. Where's Whitty?

Ian, I think I may have found where the rain is getting into the changing room. The metal sheeting by Tommy's path has three holes in it, one of them being quite large. One area of the changing room on Saturday was absolutely flooded by half time and the players had to cram into one area. I hope this is the location, if not it might be a roof problem.

Wintergreen, there was hardly a drop from the place where you repaired the leak but I think the further work you advised is still required.

 Could that not double up as a bath & save on water bill's?

Any idea if we have any blue gloss paint like the white paint I was using on Friday Ian? I was thinking of doing the crush barriers around the ground especially on the pop side. There is plenty of the white paint left but I don't know if there is any blue :D
