Another £50 off Esso Blue.

Thank you very much. That takes the total that is doubled to £840!!

When Shane said he'd double all donations (on top of his original 2k) I honestly didn't think we'd get too much interest amongst all the doom & gloom at the moment so this has been a pleasant surprise & a nice boost to the kitty.

Thank you greenarmour, very generous of you to split your winnings.

Thats £100 off Midland Blue, £50 off Esso Blue & £25 off greenarmour over this weekend alone - doubled to £350. These are bigger donations but anything at all will help keep money in our kitty.

My mate Norman Morrison (Mo) hasn't made the last two matches & will probably miss Tuesdays game as well, so following a couple of others leads on here he's given me £100 which I'll give Peter on Tuesday to put in our £ for £ account.

Unless more has gone in that I don't yet know about, that takes our total to £545 doubled to £1,090.

A massive boost to our kitty for the projects coming up in the future. This amount of money isn't just sorting job's for this year, it's getting that big it's helping us plan for years ahead.

If you can give anything at all, anything - £2-£5-£10 these are the details you'll need

Or just hand it to any of the ground maintenance volunteers or the BDF shop (telling them it's for us)

Don't think your donation is too small or you can't be arsed or someone else will do it, all monies will be doubled & used ONLY for maintaining & improving our ground.......let's keep this going :D

Just as an add on, myself & mrsenario cannot belive that since we started this one year ago this month that we would have had this amount of money + four really big donations, Exile, NSC, the lad's who set up the betting thread, Shane Brennan and all the other cash that has been handed over which has totalled about £12,000, & building all the time!

Amazing.

Shane Brennan rang me today & asked if we've bankrupt him yet  so just a quick reminder for anyone who can, or want's to donate anything as the £ for £ offer is still on going - the details are above, or just hand it over in the BDF shop telling them it's for us.

I think Shanes idea was pretty much the same as Exile's which was to get everyone involved in the upgrade to the ground, to make it feel like it was our's & even if you can't make it to any of the Sunday mornings or Friday afternoon visits, you can still help out by throwing a couple of quid in the pot.

He actually wants to give away this money, let's help him.

As always, this money is for ground improvements only.

Thanks Capman for the £30 yesterday which will be going straight into Shanes £ for £ offer, instantly doubled to £60.

If you can afford a small donation please get it thrown into this excellent offer by Shane, it'll make all the difference to the overall appearance of the ground.

All money donated is used entirely on upgrading the ground.

We've been asked if there is anyay we could help to purchase a roller for the pitch (not by the club) as we all know the pitch is fairly bumpy. One has been found virtually new with all the attatchments, it'll cost £500.
We suggested 50/50 with the club but as we all know there's no spare cash at the moment, we don't want to stump up the entire amount as there's not a great deal coming back in at the moment but plenty going out.
We thought it might be an idea to ask for donations to this fund again, so in effect if £250 was raised the account will be doubled to the needed £500! basically what we were offering in the first place.

The roller won't be there forever so we'd need to see some positive movement with the funds so we could put a deposit down or even pay the full amount & hope the rest will come in.

The roller will be stored in the new garage that we'll be picking up this weekend & although it'll be used by the groundsman, it'll be club property & another improvement purely down to supporters.

If anyone was willing to donate you can use this account number, just hand it over to one of us or pm's or a post on here will do.

The pitch is too uneven for my liking so £50 should be hitting the account now!
