I somehow find myself in something like an episode of The Prisoner from the 1960s. They even have four seater bicycles with striped roof covers. The guards are called redcoats. The fellow inmates make up an entire six seasons worth of Jeremy Kyle paternity / drug / obesity test subjects. Skegness. It's [SwearFilter] awful. There are tribute acts. Robbie Williams in his fatter days. Olly Murs in his two octaves higher days. It's awful.
Highlight of the week has to be " where the hell is Boston anyway " followed by a quick Google and blow me it's round the corner!

Providing we get a reasonable result at Boston I think we're gonna get a gate for the Gainsborough game on Tuesday that could be in the region of 1500.
With this in mind I just hope the club have more than the normal number of turnstiles (and operators) available than we had last season to cope with the extra demand. We don't want people seeing a massive queue and then saying sod it, I can't be bothered queueing up or people still queueing to get in 10mins after the game has kicked off.

DO you really think there is a chance of 1500 people turning up on Tuesday? SUGGESTING an attendance figure that doubles the highest of last season is silliness in my opinion.

This is massive now,i went to the Boston game and if you are maybe not thinking of going as it is ''ahh same old etc etc '' or for whatever reason please read the reports on the game how we should of had so much more out the game and get down to HS and help make it the fortress of old!

Agree Jim. I listened to all the commentry. Was Cooky offside. He hit the woodwork twice and scored. Plus the miss on the line and the blockbuster shot from ARH that even now the Boston player will have a headache.
It is difficult to play against a 6/4 defence split at any level.
We were hardly troubled all afternoon and goals cam from a deflection and a breakaway. All is not lost. Get down on Tuesday night and see what these lads are capable of.

no idea if he was offside i can't even remember seeing the game lol most of it was spent with my back to the game helping ub08 get the singing going,we were class at times first half but died out abit second,we need to get together as a whole stadium Tuesday night and again on Saturday and make HS a hostile unwelcoming place to the opposition,yes we want them to enjoy their ''match day experience'' at HS and hopefully over the coming years with the stadium upgrades promised by Mr.Casson these will be greatly improved,but we still want them to be thinking ''oh for petes sake,Barrow next week,hate going there it's horrible'' and of course leave with no points,in recent years teams have enjoyed and looked forward to coming here towards the end of the Bayliss regime and the support at home is nowhere near what it is away,if this could change and we could be as near as good as we once were at home,this will of course make a massive difference,and could hopefully help us get out of this league in Casson's first year,IMO.

I see a lot of people predicting a crowd of around a 1000, some lower, some just over..........Hard for me to gauge being an exile, but id be unhappy with anything less than 1200.

We had 8/900 for a couple of friendlies, which to me suggests (even after our Boston Defeat) a big gate of 1300+
