Absolutely agree.SKIPPER wrote:Proof,if anyone on here doubted it,that this is the sort of experienced player we need to be bringing in, not bits of kids who can't get a game for Development squads in front of one man and a dog.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Has any barrow player had a debut hatrick?

Did Brodie? (vs Tamworth in the FA Cup I believe?). Can't remember if he scored 2 or 3.Jameston1 wrote:Has any barrow player had a debut hatrick?

Defending still sounds atrocious. They hit the bar with 2 men totally unmarked before the third goal. Luckily, their defence sounds just as bad which is hardly surprising since they gave away 7 against the second worst team in the league!

This is better, nothing more than we should've expected but after that first twenty....a good turnaround.

Need to get a few more now, their heads must have gone down after being 2-0 up and recent drubbings.

I don't belieeeeeeeve it!

Re: Hyde FC Match Thread
Not to put a dampener on things, but don't celebrate too early. I remember a match at Hyde years ago where they went 2-0 up, we made it 4-2, ended 4-4.
No bubblewrap unpopped.
