Some of the stuff on here; beyond belief. Give Edmo a break please, given time he will do the business.

Edmo knows the players better than anyone on here.
He's been a pro player for pretty much his whole playing career.
He's played under some decent managers and not so decent managers.
He's spent a good few years playing and managing in this league.
He's been the favourite for a number of football league jobs probably because its recognised that he's a decent young manager.
Most of all, he's a decent, hard working coach who wants to do well for Barrow.

Give him a chance. Every time we go on a bad run, the fans always get on the managers back at this club... Turnbull, Wilson, Bayliss... The list goes on. Sometimes it's good to accept that people are in the job for good reason, support them, release the pressure and they might just prosper!

He's been here one year for frocks sake!

As for excuses.... Are you hoping he comes out and says 'I couldn't give a damn' or maybe your just filling time on your boring Sunday night?
+1

long ball football
no plan B
square pegs in round holes
lack of drive and effort in the team

Is none of it Edmos fault?

He brought most of the players here and he is responsible for tactics and team selection.

He seems a very nice bloke but by god he's gonna lose 100's of fans very quickly if he's not careful.

We'd love a team of winners but grafters will do if we can't have that.

ARH, Reid, Wilson and Pilks - all players that any side would miss at this level. Reid and Pilks allowed us the option to go wide when required - they got injured, limiting these options.

So what do the fans want... players to replace these!

But its not as simple as that.. It HAS GOT to be the right player to fill in. The decent players at that standard will be at clubs who will have been very reluctant to let them go with a busy xmas period coming up. As well as that, how many GOOD players will come here, knowing that they are a replacement for a first choice player in their position.

For all you know, edmo may have been on the phone, out scouting and talking for hours on end, without success.

The players he has managed to get - Wilmer and Ledsham, look like they can do a job. Maybe a few more will follow and Edmo can get the side out and play the football he wants.

It's a bit of the dark arts at this level picking players up as well. The reason players are at this level is their consistency - the better the player the more consistent, it takes time to sort them out to find the right balance, there was always going to be ups and downs. If he could field a full strength side I'm sure we'd see a much more balanced team.

A time for patience and support - we've been in much darker places than we are now...
