Casson Calls for Promotion

[Bingo]

I was at Brackley too dreadful wasn't it - but we won the next three and won the league

I have no idea how we will do next season nobody does.

I just get annoyed when people state there opinion as fact about things that haven't happened yet

The guy obviously wants success and with nonleague clubs with one man ownership very often leads to disaster. We have got where we are, not, by playing good football but by having the players who know how to grind out results and get wins when often is seemed impossible. That method won't work in this league. Considering where we were 12 months gone Christmas, bottom of the Conference North and wondering where the next win was coming from and just about bankrupt. If it had not been for PC there is a good chance there would be no Barrow AFC today. We don't want that to happen again and why we should not expect too much too soon. We are going into a league where at least Half the teams are bigger than Barrow so we should make sure we stay there because most of the money put in will have been used and there won't be a lot left. It does not matter how rich a person is there is always a limit on how much he is prepared to give away and that will be governed by how much Holker Street is worth. Even if it takes 10 years to return to PC's goal the football league we must be run within the means of the club and take things gradually.
