Nige, we are taking the advice of the firm you mentioned and Gareth is working with them on this project. Gareth is our main man when it comes to the pitch, he's worked wonders with very little budget over the past few seasons.blue nige wrote:don`t mean to sound ungrateful but i`m almost certain that we were told that the new pitch would be done by a firm who work/advise premier league clubs and it would have a sprinkler system Mr Casson`s words not mine!.
As i have said not ungrateful but please let`s not big things up because it only leads to criticism! (before anyone says it i know i`m being critical but in a nice way!)
Would you prefer me to put 8 smileys and a line saying "Disclaimer: BTW I'm joking I don't actually want Casson out" next time? Of course it's a joke, you plant pot.orpheus wrote:Hope "audigex" is having a joke there as the comment there is not very appropriate.

Sprinklers were also mentioned but a fully automatic systems costs thousands. This is a cheaper measure designed to do us until the ground development is set in motion. The tanks are not cheap, but can be reused in any new development if they are needed or resold if not.
That said, the pitch will be one of, if not the best surface in our league next season.
