Good point that, sounded like we dug in and showed a bit of resilience, which is good for a change

Slightly concerning that the commentary team keep talking about Barrow being 'leggy and tired'.

Two goals & point away from home against a team at the right end of the table - gotta be happy with that.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Paul Cox on the radio, one of his on off targets is subject to a sizeable offer from a Scottish premiership side. Not bringing in anyone who will not improve us, so a case of sitting and waiting sometimes, but working hard to find the right players!
Saying that hopefully its just a twist on Cowps and maybe not as bad as first feared.

Pity we couldn't go on to win this but a very good point against a top 6 side. I'm happy.

Cox keeps drilling in the message about what he wants and it feels like we are finally toughening up.

Very entertaining game, especially first half. Good performances from Cook, Pilks, and Jordan Willams especially. Could have gone either way in the end, but happy with a point against a good attacking team.

Pleasing performance, good to see a Barrow side that like last week gave it everything and worked their socks off which is different to what we were seeing a few weeks ago.

First half we were much the better team, should've been 3 or 4-1 up at half time but instead we went in at 2-2 after they equalised out of nowhere. Second half Woking much better but we still had our moments and a couple of chances to nick it, most notably when Haworth blazed over late on.

All in all though a good day, decent performance and a decent point.

Echo points above. Dare I say I almost enjoyed watching that. The quality was sometimes a bit lacking but the game was never dull and both sides tried to win it.

The referee certainly had a strange day. What with seeing his liner poleaxed for 15 minutes (probably most amusing moment since the ball was hammered into the burger van at Gainsborough last year). Then forgetting whether he'd already booked the Woking right-back (Norman) which he should've done in the first half and then jogging off to check his notes to avoid doing a Graham Poll.

Barrow deserved the point and the benefits of having won at Welling last week were pretty clear to see. Woking were a very proficient side and technically a little better than us though sometimes this led to them over-playing situations.

As per last week Cooky was magnificent. No-one seems to be able to touch him in the air. Also really beginning to get interested in Jordan Williams. He is looking better each week and my gut tells me this kid will play at least a couple of leagues higher in his time.

Our weaknesses are pretty well documented. Really solid at the back when defending set pieces, but very vulnernable when the ball is lost in the middle third and counter attacked.

Last thoughts - Grimes not influential enough, Mellor not fit enough and Symington not good enough. Not that it matters much now but it does really show that Edmo really lost his job in the close season. Those signings were just not good enough. However I agree with those that say that there are at least 4 weaker sides than us. So I think PC and PC will probably keep their powder dry until the end of the season when it may be easier to acquirte some of the more desirable additions to the squad.

We did seem to tire a little towards the end (especially up front) and started playing long balls but were under the cosh by then. Have now seen the draw at Lincoln and the win at Welling, but this was by quite a distance the best performance of the three.

First time I've managed to get to a Barrow game as a southern exile but a couple of more coming up pretty soon at Eastleigh and Aldershot.
I have to say that if that is an entertaining game then I'm very glad I haven't seen any of the non-entertaining games!
Both sides were as bad with the ball merely being hoofed from one end to the other most of the time.
Barrow's main problem was obvious immediately in that they have a non-existent midfield.
Cowperthwaite, before his injury, and Parry may as well have been sitting on the bench for what they did. Mellor looks as though he has a bit of ability but is vastly overweight and slow. Grimes looks to have ability but does little to help either Cook or the defence. Dixon could do nothing with either goal and made one very good save in the second half. NWA looks a very decent footballer and the 2 central defenders coped pretty well with Woking's poor attacking efforts. The Woking left winger could beat Symington every time he was given the ball but, luckily, they weren't bright enough to give him the ball very often. Cook was outstanding IMO winning virtually every ball that was hoofed up to him (and there were a lot). Unfortunately there was never anybody near enough to him to provide any help and all he could do was pass the ball backwards. Pilkington was another who looked to have ability but, again, doesn't seem to put in too much effort. Unlike Jordan Williams he very rarely tracked back and almost every bit of danger from Woking came from their left side. Jordan Williams does track back and defends pretty well but as an attacker faded away after a promising start.
