Hope those who listened enjoyed the coverage.
Some great performances from some of the u18s who certainly will of caught the eye. Onto the next round.
Now for saturday!!!!!!

None of the u18s looked out of place and were a credit to the club. Very confident and solid performances all round. Hannah showed what he can do and was excellent in the second half. Strong performance from Akil as well. Overall very enjoyable and the unbeaten run continues.

A mention for Meikle - full of running for the full 90 minutes, and him on the left with Howarth on the right terrorised the Bury defence all game. There was more football played on the ground than I've seen all season, and Howarth's early shot from outside the area that smacked the crossbar was worth the admission fee itself.

The 1000 regulars who stayed at home missed a treat.
