Saturday's opponents Solihull go to penalties v Yeovil.
Popular side since '03.

It was a difficult game to watch with constant fouls by Taunton a decent referee could have stopped this by booking a few, they came to spoil and they did, fortunately Barrow overcame this but really Taunton were lucky to finish with 11 men shocking display by them, and a poor referee.

I counted 6 booked for Taunton and 3 from ourselves. Plus a new whistle as the Referee blew for all those niggly/dirty fouls from the side 3 leagues below us. Now we know why they are there. Their 4,5,9,10,11 at it all night and number 7 should have been red carded in the first half.
Shocking Refereeing at times but we came thru and can look forward to a nice leisurely drive down the M6/M5 to Booming Bristol.
Yes and another £12.5k minimum.

One of their players put a bit of bacon from a pizza on the face of Moussa on that picture on stairs.

So therefore I hope they go bust.

An ugly but excellent win.
Seems that Mr C only wants the team to play one way.
Could have put Meilkle or Howarth on 2nd half to give the team width, and stretch flagging Taunton, but persisted with Hughes down the right winning all those headers on the line. Ugly but effective.
What a niggly side they were. Deserved every one of their bookings.
2 excellent goals, and a bit of a fluke from Yates to win it.
Onwards and upwards!!

I have photo on my phone as evidence not who done it but of it on his pic.

I left not long after Taunton players left after having their pizzas and taking some with them.

Putting 2 and 2 together doesnt make great reading.

They wasted three hours trying to find a pub in Lancashire that sold scrumpy. :)

Good effort by their fans to get to Barrow, though. Doubt they've had to travel so far for a match before this one.

Cracking free kick from their (5) Palmer!
Again we were brought down to their level by their endeavour, our lack of width and poor officials who offered little protection to the players for the most part.
What a screamer by Jordan, worth going for that alone!
Bur saying that I enjoyed the game in a masochistic sort of way, brutal at times but a proper old school David v Goliath cup tie.

Enjoyed second half. Have to say they were a bloody good side considering the league they play in.Brought down to there level, that's so arrogant. They were better than some conference teams I've seen, fair play to them.
