I wouldn't quit my job for it. I'd happily update the website in my spare time but that would defeat the point of it all, me updating the website when I get home each night. It wouldn't be current if I announced a transfer on the official site at 7pm if it happened earlier in the day. Like I say there are plenty of staff up there who are paid to be there throughout the day. Surely it can't be too much to ask to put a post or two together each day.

It would probably be worth posting a part time job description up to the students at Furness College. If I was 16 I would have happily done 12 hours a week up at the club for some coin. Its hard getting work as a teenage student these days.

Again though, this is what the club should be brainstorming and sorting out. I just don't know what goes on up there each day.
There are 2 apprentices at the club doing this after last year's volunteer left for university

Really? What are they supposed to be doing then? The club site has entered its 6th day of not being updated and the clubs twitter is extremely slow and does the odd retweet now and again.

All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others.

Theres too much nepotism up there in terms of who is allowed to do what.

Imho

I think their hands are tied regarding what they can and can't say or do by the hierarchy.

If true then that needs to change for the club to start to go forward

What's the bloody point of them then? Can understand anything delicate regarding transfer discussions etc but not general updates shirley

Its sad to see fans asking such simple questions as " do you have any kids sized shirts in stock" to see it go unanswered. That is just watching cash walk on by.

I'll e-mail Sean this morning to see if he can give us an update.
Sean has done a piece on Byron's progress and it'll be in this weeks match day programme.

Before someone asks........I'll ask if it can go on the website.
Andrew Casson has just informed me the injury updates will go on the website the day before a match.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

As Casson lives in the States, there needs to be experienced people on the ground who have the proper delegated authority to make decisions, publish articles about the club and be there to liaise with Cox on a day to day basis. This doesn't appear to be happening.

On the topic of the website, it is an embarrassment. The format looks old, it's not updated, provides little information and social media feeds are not integrated. So sometimes we get announcements on twitter, then it might be on Facebook or not at all. It's all a bit random and inconsistent.

Will you pass on the message to pull your finger out, allow people to do their job with some freedom, to bloody look at other clubs and the way they interact with fans.

Absolute basics beyond a joke how shit it is.

Suppose its a very small start but I can't help but think theyll just simply do that on a Friday and think that they are doing it right now.

On the field there have been a lot of positives this season which further highlights the imbalance. The fitting word of nepotism was used earlier.
