Re: Paul Turnbull
Good luck. Injury prone but a good un with free kicks, the one at Maidstone springs to mind.

Re: Paul Turnbull
Ok, but I think this is the last player we should 'lose' as I would now like to see the line up for the first game of the season as follows:
Dixon
X, Diarrah, X, Anderton
Burress?, ARH, X, X
Bennett, Harrison
This means we have retained six 1st choice players and (hopefully) strengthened in the 'X' places... This is building on last season but a loss of anymore players will be closer to an overhaul which is a big gamble. Will be interesting to see if Burress is in the starting 11 from the start.

Re: Paul Turnbull
Could White be a replacement for Bennett if he's moving on? Hope he's not like.

Has Dixon signed up for next season? I thought he was just invited back for pre-season and not offered a new contract yet.Mark Johnson wrote:

Re: Paul Turnbull
I'd agree with this. Don't want to lose anymore. Bigger concern though is making sure we have enough depth in the squad and at the moment we are net down.Mark Johnson wrote:Ok, but I think this is the last player we should 'lose' as I would now like to see the line up for the first game of the season as follows:

Re: Paul Turnbull
No real time to panic yet.
Most football league contracts run through to July, then its a domino effect downwards. Most sides want players from the league above so its a bit of a waiting game.

Plus a lot will be asking big money at the moment which will go down when they are still clubless in mid July. The Real Slim a former member of this forum wrote:No real time to panic yet.

All a big game this time of year.

Think he was injury prone when we signed him.Mark Mc wrote:A decent player on his day! Unfortunately injuries seem to be catching up with him, or at least that's the way it looked.
Looks like we are getting rid of all the top earners lets see where are new players come from, Evo Stik?

Yes only one of the many players we have had on the books.Bingo wrote:You mean the same place we got a player we sold yesterdayPedro wrote:

If you have ambition you keep the nucleus of your team together and add to it not sell it off
I just hope we are not going back to the days of signing players of any calibre.
Re: Paul Turnbull
IMHO both Hannah & Turnbull no better than squad players and certainly not good enough for a team looking for promotion.
Lets not dwell on who has gone or is going but look forward to the better players I'm sure will be coming in.
