Yes signed ironically from Mansfield.
Scored 2 goals on his debut and that's all he got in 22 games as a centre forward

What about Kevin Rapley? Didn't we pay 2.5K for him?

When we came out of the league we had a defender not sure if it was ,1971 and I've got the right man Stuart Liddel? as soon as you saw his name on the team sheet you wondered what time he would be sent of.
He made Chopper Harris and Norman Hunter look like nurse maid's

He hit the crossbar with a 1 yard out header into an open net against Harrogate(?) once...

Ill just jump in ahead of Dingham and pop down Phil Rowlands
I didn't see pre 1979 stuff, most of the 90s or us in recent seasons, so can't judge, but this name popped into my head too.

Only been watching the past couple of seasons or so, but I would have to say Ben Tomlinson or Dan Symington

Can't think of a specific player that I have seen play that was so shambolic but for the sheer quantity of bad players brought in by Bayliss at short notice at the beginning of that relegation season (Aaron Cole, Vinny Mukendi, Chris Moore) and then some of the players he brought in at the beginning of the 2013-14 season when we had been relegated were equally as bad, can remember one of the signings being announced in a motorway service station and then being released shortly after the start of the season but his name escapes me.

That's him. Now an umpire, I believe.

By no means a "bad" player per se, but certainly one of the most uncultured players I can remember was "big" Brian Edwards, a centre half who played in the late 80's. An absolute mountain of a man. Cruelly overlooked when they dished out mobility, finesse, and skill, he made up for it with heart and enthusiasm. A crowd favourite despite his limitations.

Cowps brother Brian. We always thought he must be the driver.

Also Martin Eatough, who had a wonderful grimace, which he used a lot.

And Darren Heesom as mentioned.
