I've wondered bout this since last season, Id the forum Negativity having an effect on attendances?

I doubt the negativity on the forum is having an effect on attendances. There are far more obvious reasons and we shouldn't give the forum powers that it doesn't have and has never had.

What the forum does provide is fertile ground for those interested in whatever gossip or innuendo gets written. The main beneficiaries of this therefore is the press, media and rival club forum members scanning for tittle tattle (I'm guilty of that myself).

Having now been a member of the forum for several years, in my view the content and tone during the close season has been particularly fractious, insults are becoming more personal and it actually feels as if the football club is just becoming an excuse for some to have an argument.

I wasn't at the game yesterday but nonetheless felt a sense of happiness and karma at a 3-0 win. I've never experienced a 3-0 win where my first instinct was to use it as a means of attacking the club so to see it appear again after the game was sad in the extreme. This has got to stop and we need to return to the norm of simply celebrating success and expressing frustration and giving criticism when we don't achieve it. The alternative is not so much that the forum damages the club but that the club and many current users of the forum cease to want to associate with it.

There is a fine line between accepting and encouraging free speech and using it to undermine the primary purpose of the forum itself. Moderators please take note.

One person took the trouble to text BBCRC after the game to say he thought we were short of pace. Not the first thought to enter most people's minds after a 3-0 win...

Another pointed out three games, four points, two clean sheets, positive goal difference. (Could have added top half table place.)

Guess it's the difference between glass half-full and broken glasses.

ARH was a beast in midfield. The promise of a decent footballer when he first arrived has developed into a confident, aggressive roaming midfield dynamo. Gomes was excellent; I'm sure he must have Blu Tack-coated boots - his close-control skills are excellent. Really impressed by Nieskens, too, not only as a player but as a team member supporting, organising, talking and developing a relationship with supporters.

On the evidence of friendlies and the two home games, we appear to have a squad of decent numbers made up of sound performers with a strong team ethos. Promising.

I am not arguing the figures - I agree and understand why it is £15, but that is a short term gain.

2000 fans - potentially more shirt sale, programme sales, burger sales (although we would have to start self catering), more exposure for sponsors so potentially more £££. Then you can slowly increase prices year on year whilst hopefully retaining fans.
