Re: Hartlepool away
Sounds like Harrison missed some chances he was banging in last year.
Popular side since '03.

Re: Hartlepool away
On the coach back now.
As opposed to Saturday where none of the team came away with any credit, tonight none of them come away with any criticism. Thompson and Dunne were excellent, Hughes showed absolutely immense character and deserves support, White didnt stop and put a real shift in. We had our chances tonight, from the 80th to the 95th minute we looked more likely to score.
Was weird tonight, felt more like am away day back in the Bayliss days where we were backs against the wall and any result would do. [SwearFilter] all over the idea that we can be competetive and effect the upper echelons in this league but if that's where we are then so be it. The support got on board tonight and didn't stop from the first to the 97th minute.
Devastating result.

Exactly. You dont' extend somebody's contract when there is no reason so to do if you have any intention of sacking him. Unless you're completely stupid, of course!HenneysKnee wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 10:08 pmHe's only just been appointed as manager, he's going nowhere (sadly)

This no need to have ago tonight at the team or management put so much into that game to not even get a point is beyond gutting.Ste Story wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 10:11 pm On the coach back now.

A win has to come sometime.
It will on Saturday.
It will on Saturday.

He lives miles away and must see it as a drain on his resources, and therefore he has no allegiance to Barrow

Re: Hartlepool away
We’re in a rut. I’m expecting a defeat every game now. We’ve got forwards who can’t score. Even Harrison’s forgotten were the net is. Can’t see things changing soon personally. Don’t see us beating Orient

No. The team showed spirit tonight. Players I have criticized namely White and Hughes worked tirelessly. We deserved something out of the game tonight.AugustusCorpa wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 9:56 pmSurely if we perform like that every game we’ll be relegatedMiddleton Nick wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 9:54 pm Didn't deserve that, but when you're down you're down. If we perform like that every game we will be ok.

Re: Hartlepool away
We still lost. We need points. We’ve got no cutting edge. I look at the next few games and I don’t see where the points are coming from.

Re: Hartlepool away
If we ever manage to score a goal or two I might start to share your optimism. How well we play is irrelevant if we can't put the ball in the net.Middleton Nick wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 10:27 pmNo. The team showed spirit tonight. This is part of the problem (apart from scoring )Middleton Nick wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 10:27 pmNo. The team showed spirit tonight. Players I have criticized namely White and Hughes worked tirelessly. We deserved something out of the game tonight.AugustusCorpa wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 9:56 pm

We're too inconsistent.
Moore needs to stick to one system so the players get used to it.
Then there's the players themselves., when we watch them at home all I ask is a bit of passion and give their all sounds like they did that tonight but now and again in this league isn't good enough!
