That we have a plan ,we may have one but what we are told and what is actually happening at the club contradict each other i.e Bennett not for sale etc
I am sure that the rumour that Paul Ogden's departure is false as we know how much he was part of the integral Paul Casson plan or that's what was said.
Pity he did not adopt his Presidents use of Twitter

Tressell one of the great working class activators; anti establishment, up the workers, down with the bourgeoisie.
Perhaps therein lies the Pedro philosophy - anti Casson dynasty irrespective of how the team are doing?
Let us know if you’d like to Pedro.
Maybe leave that to a different forum, and give our capitalist, successful business men a chance to get things right.
‘it’s the way of football (and other things) across the globe.
Or perhaps, as other posters have suggested, you can come up with an alternative?

Bennett wasn't "for sale" he had a trigger fee wrote into his contract when he signed for the club and that was met by Carlisle. Same as a lot of clubs/players do the world over.
Perhaps if we lived in NK (or in Pedros world) we could have just ignored the legal document and imprisoned him at the club.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

And we got a decent transfer fee for him; it was not reinvesting that fee in another striker that's the problem not actually selling Bennett himself

How much was the fee?

Im not having that the wage bill is 900 k either. That would mean average wages of 800 odd quid a week

What if... this is true and there is some underhand ed stuff going on? Not from the owners but maybe oggy and cox? What if there were some dodgy dealings that cost us ££££? Then maybe our leaders are doing right by removing the dead wood? O

The wage bill is not a simple multiple of players' gross wages (as I think Pedro has mentioned). It will include the various 'on-costs' - national insurance etc. The standard assessment for those costs is usually around an additional 30% (maybe a bit lower). If the overall figure is £900k then basic salaries would be around £700k is my guess.
It all comes 'round again.

Snap! - When Pedro first started to post I thought right away - William Burroughs. The fractured narratives and cut-ups are there and the content is by turn bizarre, imaginative and yet realistic in a nihilistic sort of way. I don't agree with any of it of but the guy has got a gift I think.

Burroughs of course was a life-long heroin addict who killed his wife with a revolver while playing their 'William Tell' game.
You seem to know alot about it very worrying!
I beleve if you say you are going to do something you do it.

Go look at some of the interviews that Casson did on BBC /Granada/RC.

I worry about your reading material , whats your bed time reading Charles Manson biography or how to build a a bunker a siege mentality?
I have a opinion and of course it will be opposite to alot of other people but thats also down to if you think people should do what they say they are going to do.

Try the Ragged Trouser Philanthropist by Tressell quite appropriate to some of the characters here.

.
We don’t have a football league infrastructure at present, far from it. While all that is happening , i believe we need a person in charge of our players who sees the bigger picture, who is selfless when it’s important to be, who puts the team, and by that I mean all of us involved in Barrow AFC including our supporters before any personal agenda. - Paul Cassons programme notes

Something isn't right at the club but it's not all on one side or another

Let's just concentrate on what we do best getting behind the club.

Like most be nice to know everything that goes on but throughout the history of the club who ever the owner have been, fans have been kept in the dark ( and that probably applies to all clubs )
