I think its a decent wealth of experience but his career seems very youth related. A lot of roles in recent years suggests he might not hang around for long.

Both MM and this new fella put together are nothing on a singular Paul Cox though

Ex copper who's done youth coaching basically isn't he? With a load of spin added
Yep, and not very good spin at that. He's basically done a bit of scouting and a bit of youth coaching, we only have any idea of how good he was at any of that because the club's statement tells us he was.

Also, if his expertise is in developing young players then those skills will be largely redundant here given that we don't have anything like a properly functioning youth set-up.

Is he also Paul Ogden's replacement?
Seems to have done alot of work with youth, something we have never promoted.
Also has a chequered CV.
Have to give him a chance but not one I would have chosen.
Look how well Bobby Robson's interpretor has done .

Hasn't stayed with clubs for very long which isn't a great sign. A complete novice as far as management goes. May be very good, maybe useless. Time will tell.

Bit of a wildcard for me but looking forward to him implementing his skills into the club & the team becoming well drilled & organised.
Nowhere near in the same Ilk as Cox as promised but everyone needs to get on board now regardless & get behind him.

Don't know if it's a good or bad appointment, i've never heard of him. Hope he has experiance of a relegation battle though.

Wildcard?? Assistant at Burton under Clough and Jimmy Floyd... believe they are in a higher league than us and didn't they win back to back promotions??

Think it's a great acquisition. Cox was a con man...
