Won't miss the likes of Rooney and Hindle when they're released in a couple of months.

Hindle is easily our most skilful player. Kay, on the other hand, is [SwearFilter] awful at the moment.

I'd have to argue Hardcastle is more skilful, but even so, Hindle loses the ball too easily, gives up the chase, and if he misses one chance it seems like his confidence is shot. I like him, but he's no better than a late sub.

Some days the harder you try the worse it becomes, this was one of those days!
For the most part we looked lethargic until we scored.
Rallied after the well taken Hindle goal then struggled to break down a resilient Borehamwood defence second half.
To add to that the man in the middle was a disgrace, no concistency in his decision making whatsoever, some baffling calls too.
Kay looked like he was struggling today eventually pulling up with a hamstring injury.
Jason Taylor and young Reece worked their socks off, if only some of the rest followed their example we would of been celebrating another victory.

Wood certainly got into it quicker than us, pressing high up the pitch and winning second balls and physically asserting themselves on the game. Did not look like a team down the bottom end. We were out of sorts. Still would like to see us finish in top 10 but rest of season is with one eye on where we need to improve over summer.

The crowd didnt look much different to the harrogate game to me the stand was around 3/4 full no way was there a 500 difference in the crowd

There was not as many in the Holker Street end first half yesterday compared to Harrogate and Boreham Wood had over 100 less supporters than Harrogate. If we continue the progression from this season into next I'm sure we can average 1500 next season with more games attracting 2000+ crowds than this season.

You'd be surprised, but loads of people plonk their arse down for the midday kick-off and settle in for the day. It will have shaved off a few from the crowd, I'm in no doubt.
