Personally cant see him going I think realistically we can be right up there next year again. Get the blackburn lads back again get another striker to contest up front so theres 3 options. We are in a great place teams will not expect us to play the way we do with quality we have.

Why on earth would he go to an inferior club?

If he stays at Barrow and gets them promoted or in and around the playoffs there will be a mass of clubs wanting him as manager.

I think we will get another season out of him, and then he will go onward and upwards and good luck to him.

Money, potential and kudos are all factors that any manager would consider before moving on as a furtherance of a career. Bolton have history, a good ground, but little else. Their infrastructure is fractured and uncertain. There does not appear to be very much money for players. They would offer IE more as a salary than Barrow could/would pay, but it's not all about money with him. If he went (anywhere) now he sets himself up to fail, meaning if he wasn't successful at a supposedly bigger club his managerial career would be shot at and he'd be seen as a flash in the pan. If he stays with us and does well (e.g. promotion) his stock will rise massively and he'll be a wanted man by big outfits. He's only 38, and obviously a talent. I hope he takes it steadily on his way to the top and stays (successfully) at Barrow for a long time.

Can’t compare the Flyde approach to a approach from Bolton one is a millionaires play thing that’s existed about 5 years and has a fan base of 500 and play in a one sided Lego ground and one has a football history going back since the start of football itself.Former Prem club, unbelievable ground and support.

Praying he isn’t interested given their financial issues and transfer embargo but this could tempt any manager at this level.

Totally agree. This sort of job offer to a manager at this level will/would be massive. Turning the fortunes of a struggling NL club around in two years to the tempting task of doing the same to a club like Bolton would be huge to most managers.
