What a pro and our longest serving player by a country mile.
We will follow the soccer, over land and sea...

Joel’s attitude commitment and loyalty is something we are losing out of the lovely game of football. 5 season with possible 6th and heading for 200 games for a club is something you don’t see very often.
Keep up the hard work and keep doing what are doing, you and back line have been superb this season and long may it continue

6th Unless there is someone prepared to pay the club a sizeable amount.
He’s the one alright!

Well said. We could do with getting Joel on a new, longer, contract.

It was on Radio Cumbria this week that along with Jason Taylor Joels current contract contains an option for the club to resign him for next season which they are in the process of doing.

Apparently Joel was on his way home yesterday when he heard a fan had wanted him to sign his programme.
Turned his car round and came back to oblige.
That must have made that persons day. How many players would have done that?
What a man.

Manager and team also pictured with those who have hit upon hard times and need a lift.

This manager and team have got a great feeling for our town and should be supported.

Good attendance yesterday but disappointed we didn't smash 3000, but I don't think the weather helped.

Absolute legend. As said, not many players would have done that in this day and age but it sums up this whole group that we have representing our badge. And represent it they do, on and off the pitch. Joel made my lads day against fc United ,stopping for a picture with him. I think we're starting to run out of superlatives for this team of ours.
