Great pictures-thanks.
And thanks to the board of directors for what is now an old fashioned good looking ground with plenty of character from the past which is so much better than the sanitised meccano set ups at places such as Shrewsbury and Morecambe.

A great historical record for future generations of fans to observe the changes Ian. How many times do we see requests for images of past times?
Well done.

Thanks for keeping us up to date, the old ground is just looking great. I'm glad we have an accountant at the helm because I'd be looking at all this expenditure and thinking to myself 'This is going to go belly-up'. But I'm happy it will all be under control.
It all comes 'round again.

Made and donated by oldbarrafancumbak. They’d been lying around for about two years till we put them up last summer.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Lets be absolute frank if we had nt have been extremely lucky to have our current owners take over from Casson where would Cassons have left us high and dry id imagine so all this Casson fantastic stuff for me does nt add up yes he did initial good work but as all that came out at the end not the hero people paint them out to be

Someone who kept the club's head mainly above water for as long as he did is a hero for me, to add to names such as Bill McCulloch, Brian & Tony Keen and many others over the years.

When Casson took over John Mackay said to me "He's an asset stripper" and it'll all go wrong for Barrow. Whilst i openly acknowledge that the Cassons made plenty of mistakes through naivety, it's plain to see that he certainly was never out to make money from the club and actually deserves a lot of credit for giving us the platform for success.

You could make a strong argument that he played a large part in our promotion through appointing Evatt and pumping money into the club. I don't think Casson is a hero but he deserves credit
