Re: Derby County
I'm trying to get myself set up for this to watch it on TV. From what I've read on here the best option seems to be the NowTV daily pass so I plan to buy that and cast it to my smart tv via chromecast. I'd rather do that than watch it on a laptop. Has anyone done that? Any problems? How's the picture quality because from what I have read it seems to broadcast at 720dp which isn't exactly HD? Some reviews of the NowTV app are less than complimentary.
Don't let the old man in.

I often watch football on now TV and I haven't had a problem with quality. If your tv is a smart TV you won't need to cast to it you just buy your pass on the now tv app and log on to it on your smart tv and it will stream live. The pass is for 24 hours so you'll be able to watch other games in that time.MisterPleasant wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 4:12 pm I'm trying to get myself set up for this to watch it on TV. But remember it's a streaming service so you have to watch it live.

Oh, right, thanks. Just to be sure, my smart tv isn't compatible with the NowTV app (it's a Panasonic and only LG and Samsung are compatible, I believe) but I can log into my NowTV account using the tv's browser having bought the daily pass on my phone's app; is that how it works?Cullercoats zigger wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 5:28 pmI often watch football on now TV and I haven't had a problem with quality. Re: Derby County
I think that would work mine is a Samsung so I haven't had that problem, if you have access to a fire stick or similar that would work as well.MisterPleasant wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 5:38 pmOh, right, thanks. I'm not that techy but sounds good to me. Maybe someone else could confirm.

Bobby burns is out, hopefully it’s not to serious, he just posted this:-
“Gutted to have to pull out of the u21 Squad with torn ankle ligaments. Best of luck to the boys in Malta and Denmark. Frustrating time but hopefully be back on the pitch in a few weeks”

Re: Derby County
I'd be very surprised if he started before Josh Kay but let's hope he'll be fit soon in case Josh gets injured or suspended.Bombadel wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 7:30 pm Bobby burns is out, hopefully it’s not to serious, he just posted this:-

Re: Derby County
Just been having a look on the Derby forum. The Barrow match thread has lots of hilarious references to Wheelbarrows.
Re: Derby County
Unlikely Rooney will be in the Derby squad. He's the manager of England at soccer aid the next day.
Re: Derby County
Not sure if that's taking the [SwearFilter] or not, but I don't think that's the reason why he would be left out.
Popular side since '03.
Re: Derby County
I don't remember the goals either, but according to my scrawl in the match programme it was indeed an own goal by Clarke in the 61st minute, followed by a goal by Preston's Bobby Ham in the 69th. Attendance 4319.

Re: Derby County
If he’s not playing for England, which I don’t think he is, then there’s no reason why he can’t play for Derby the previous day.
I have no idea what sort of team we’ll put out. Ordinarily, in this competition we field mostly fringe first team players. However, there is speculation on our forum that Cocu may effectively use it as a final pre-season game so it may be a stronger team than normal.

Yes, sorry about that. We’re not the most imaginative and original group.AugustusCorpa wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 8:15 pm Just been having a look on the Derby forum. The Barrow match thread has lots of hilarious references to Wheelbarrows.

Re: Derby County
Myself and @Lancaster Branch were guests on a Derby podcast today and they are under the impression that Rooney will feature in the game as he has only missed one pre-season friendly that they have played so far they play Sheff Utd tomorrow or Wednesday so whatever team plays in that one id hazard will be what we face on Saturday
