The goal was Hird's mistake but it stemmed from a very poor kick off - ball straight out of play to give Newport possession, then silly messing about at the back without ever being in control of the ball and inviting pressure.

Hird won't need telling. That's a once in a career mistake. All defenders make them.

It's how he responds. Come on Barrow.

No that goal was down to Hird and nothing else.

Hird is great player but 2 mistakes in 2 games that lead to 2 goals being given away isn't great. We need to be more clinical in front of goal. Angus doesn't look like he can score in open play

The sooner both Hird and Brown are out on loan the better. Both are shocking at this level.

Yeah, his mistake today was nothing like that.

That pen give away was a 5 times in a career moment and completely unrelated to todays mistake.

He's passed the ball nowhere near our play under hardly any pressure absolutely shocking.

Throwing Brown (who has been good today) with a man who has made two match changing mistakes in two games. Bit harsh...

Crucial part of the game here now. Need to get over that stupid goal quickly and get right back into it. So far we've not been able to string two passes together,
