A hugely reduced number at the ground today for obvious reasons.

A before and after (or after and before...they’ve come out the wrong way around!!)
The away fans turnstile before we pretty much demolished it and started again. They’re now secure, wind proof and waterproof. The turnstiles themselves have been taken out, buffed down to bare metal and re-painted with Hammerite. They’ve also been moved so the operators aren’t stood back to back in there.
A lick of paint on the wall and some finishing off touches on the interior and they’re done.

The new (re-used) security gate attached to our workshop.

The ground was also once again completely litter picked by two of the lads.
Refreshments were served, and even delivered at one point during the morning by Elaine, not even her birthday weekend stops her from looking after us

Many thanks to Derek Wilson who very very kindly donated half his winnings from Russ’s raffle to our GMA kitty yesterday. A nice early Christmas present to the maintenance pot.

A couple from yesterday’s visit.

The Trusts fans boards in place in and around the fanzone area.
Everyone who paid for one of the small plaques that helped pay for the old HSE cladding a few years ago will eventually have their plaque back on display in this area.

The other picture is part of the old wall coming down at the end of the pop side roof. I think this was for easier passage through there as it was always a bottleneck as people moved around the ground.

As usual everyone was well looked after by Elaine who kept us fed and watered throughout the (very wet) morning.

We drew some more cash out today and once again we must thank anyone who has been adding to our kitty through the account details on here. it doesn’t give us names but it’s really appreciated.

A couple of before and after of the main stand in preparation for the next home game. The red & white tape is being replaced with stickers to tidy the area up.

Apologies for being the wrong way around and the opposite ends of the stand but you get the idea.
