They have just been painted so won't be getting done again.
A cherry picker is required and as the pitch is going to be relaid as soon as the season ends another reason why not.
They match the "Barrow Blue" inside the ground.
The colours dont match the new front cladding though you see it on i follow clearly would look good matched up the holker end proper stripes

We noticed as soon as the first game was shown on ifollow. We never did the painting but we are looking at how we can tidy it up for TV.

Still waiting on a reply regarding the “disabled fanzone” you mentioned, I haven’t a clue what this is.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Craig was discussing it on the i follow , fundraiser coming for it our disabled fan zone is relatively poor.

I am more concerned about the playing side and if we stay up than whether paint matches.

Roof does look a bit shoddy to be fair as it’s the first thing you notice from the gantry camera. Just need painting to the joint in the metal sheeting!

It does Mark, it’s getting to it thats the problem. A cherry picker at any stage of the season isn’t going to do the pitch any good and doing it actually on the roof brings its own problems.

Anyone got a helicopter?

But we don’t have a disabled fanzone, does anyone? Are you talking about access to the fanzone for the disabled?

I’m clutching at straws here...!

With seven home games left is it worth the effort?

Far better to see what's happening on the pitch rather than watching paint dry! :)

Its a league requirement , we do have one it is in the flattened area from 2 seasons back left off the main stand.
2 years ago. Its basically a modern subs bench

That is something the club are actively trying to raise money for - Craig will be announcing details on a fundraiser for that in due course

The work the volunteers have done in the ground has been good let’s be fair but I think even they’d agree that the building of structures like stands to comfortably house the disabled supporters (both home and away) and improving disabled access to the main stand is more a job that the club will contract out

Tony Shearer summed it up perfectly on that Zoom Q+A session; the maintenance volunteers do an absolute superb job but the ground was basically neglected for so long that it’s now just an absolute money pit to sort out
In an ideal world would you paint the roofs of the stands to match the rest of the ground? Absolutely you would. Does it need doing when the money can be spent on ground improvements that are essential rather than cosmetic? Absolutely not

All the gmv lot do a cracking job! Was just a suggestion and something that I believe would have been fairly cheap with a good visual gain. The Stadium has moved on well over the past few years fanzone , holker end roof , the west terrace flattened where it was falling apart , the sniping box as some call it for the commentators , painting all the barriers grey looks a lot tidier than the flaky blue and white paint that used to be all over them , the horrific toilets all gone and knocked down. Long may it continue

If we are talking about the bus shelter type (just checked whether calling it a disability is allowed without upsetting someone) disability structure that at least can be improved upon. Unless it has been altered, the last time I saw it was basic to say the least. There isn't even any seats in it. Just a narrow bar that I found uncomfortable to sit or lean on and I am able bodied. We need space for wheelchair users but not all disabled people are in wheelchairs. Some might need to rest their legs.
