Was great to see the team & staff in huddle after the full time whistle with Rob Kelly in the centre giving the victory speech. The emotional connection he has with them all was there to see. Well done to all at BAFC, looking forward to next season.

Magnificent ... After some of the insipid stuff of the last few matches ...this was the performance we have needed . Not so much a change in style as a change in attitude , application, team play and all round 'togetherness ' ...which , it turns out , was just what was needed . Brilliant by the lads and congratulations to the management, the staff and all the players who have battled to keep us in the league for another season . We now have the chance to build. Don't let that chance slip . Great stuff ...what a night for all associated with Barrow AFC.

looks like Connor will probably play left back there's one thing him Quigs and Taylor will give it everything come on lad's !

To me, it looks like a back 3 of Eardley Platt and Thomas with Brown as right wingback and Brough left wingback with Barry, Jason Taylor and Beadling in midfield and Andrews and Quigley up front. Hopefully, Banks and Davies are not injured and are being kept for the Southend match. Once again, an awful midfield!

After the three defeats on the trot I don't mind admitting that I was starting to feel a bit spooked by memories of decisive defeat away at Exeter in the final game of 1971-72 and that same fixture looming on the horizon at the end of this season. The relief is enormous that that particularly cruel second strike of lightning won't be haunting us after all. Huge congratulations and thanks to all players and staff, and most definitely the board, for guiding us through this traumatic season, especially with the courage displayed in the last couple of months to haul us back from the brink.
