Re: Training Facilities ? Physio
If it hasn’t been sorted sure Cooper will take the chance to mention it on ITV……..

Re: Training Facilities ? Physio
That was back in August when the Chairman announced that Mark H had sorted the gym at Total Fitness, Wilmslow (not Wythenshawe as in programme notes) and "long term hire of the pitches" at Mottram Hall, an arrangement, he said, was one with which Mark Cooper was "over the moon". Cooper praised him for his work in last Fridays radio interview.

But, it should be said, we are not the only club at our level which has difficulty with establishing permanent training facilities. Saturday's visitors, Rochdale, are in a similar position, I think.
Don't let the old man in.

In his Rochdale preview interview Mark Cooper refers to what we have at AVRO as a 7-a-side pitch but he just sounded glad to be on grass.

Re: Training Facilities ? Physio
Interesting comment on Rochdale and training. Yesterday with it being half term they opened the ground to fans - kids in particular - to witness a training session in full and afterwards get photographs/autographs with the players. A tremendous initiative aimed at capturing young supporters for the future. Perhaps something we could think about for the future.MisterPleasant wrote: ↑Thu Oct 28, 2021 10:24 amThat was back in August when the Chairman announced that Mark H had sorted the gym at Total Fitness, Wilmslow (not Wythenshawe as in programme notes) and "long term hire of the pitches" at Mottram Hall, an arrangement, he said, was one with which Mark Cooper was "over the moon". About right for the number of fit players we have had so far this season...MisterPleasant wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 9:51 am In his Rochdale preview interview Mark Cooper refers to what we have at AVRO as a 7-a-side pitch but he just sounded glad to be on grass.

Re: Training Facilities ? Physio
Does anyone know if the training facility / issues have finally been finally sorted out. As in we now have a settled training base.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Exactly Jonty, please don't ask questions of the club unless it's posted in the form of a love letter to the chairman.
Popular side since '03.

Re: Training Facilities ? Physio
Great article. His dad’s death certainly had a big impact on him and looking back at that time, you could see it had affected him. He also comes across as genuinely concerned that Barrow gets it right off the field. We should be under no illusions on how difficult it is to attract players to the Club without the correct infrastructure. Hope he stays and we give him every help we can. He is the man to take us forward. Let’s hope for a great result tomorrow at Barnsley and the money from that would be huge for us.
