it's irrelevant how we play because if we don't score we're doomed!

We are dreadful up top.
Stood behind Ray Wilkie for years. Best education I ever had.

It was better than recently. They were not very good but still gave them a goal and we still failed to score. Worrying times.

Dont know what game you watched we were the better team today and played some really good football at times.
But same old problem cant score and had no luck with bouncing ball in the area

All that possession, all them corners, all the build up and half chances and still no one could find the back of the net.
This must be more of a worry than last season because at least we had a forward who could actually do his job - and score. Plus the wage bill must’ve gone through the roof since twelve months ago.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Yes, sounded as though we played quite well but didn't have any luck. Got to believe that a goal will come and confidence will come back.cottingham bluebird wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 5:05 pmDont know what game you watched we were the better team today and played some really good football at times.

Can't fault the effort. How we didn't get anything out of this game I don't know. It won't go in the net. Really disappointed..

From aprox sixteen corners we still can,t score. Thanks to Adam for his commentary, which was the most exciting thing about the game.We do sound like we played better. We need to start scoring
We have to get a striker from somewhere, the build up play is improving, but we need to find somebody who can convert these chances into goals.

Zanzala’s a waste of space. National league North level at best.
Re: Sutton v Barrow match thread
I know White made a difference today and they would also have been playing for their places at Ipswich next week.
That's where the goal will come, next week, 'and' the win!.

Listeniing to Radio Carlisle, ironically, their supporters say they were awful, but they won.

Really fed up didn’t expect us to be in a relegation battle again and so early in season .Don’t think we have recruited as well as we thought it is really galling seeing Stockport doing so well with Quigley and Rooney when we are now struggling again.January cannot come quickly enough and may be to late if don’t improve soon.Carlisle also crap end their go al drought with late makes it worse.
Re: Sutton v Barrow match thread
Sure the finger will point at Zanzala / Gordon, but lets be honest we don't have a goal threat from anywhere.
15 corners to 1. That tells me we were at least taking the game to them, but it would be nice to actually get a goal from one of them. Did we even try and mix the corner routine up!??

Sick of listening to cooper and his excuses now, his job to train what he's got.
Haven't heard off the board in a long while now over their thoughts and plans of any to back him.
Anyone want to buy my Ipswich bus ticket and match ticket. Really can't be arsed
