Any complaints about team selection or Taylor’s performance?

All immense. Jason Taylor was magnificent. We need that tenacious close tacking and his experience and support out there was fantastic. Rooney- you may think he was quiet but his non stop communication and encouragement out with Banks too was crucial. My own mom- Luke James/ his hold up play and strength against the defenders was brilliant.

Well played lads- absolutely made up.

Tremendous team effort and some great individual performances from Hutton, Beadling, Brough, Taylor and others, but for me Ollie Banks was MOM. Rooney looks to be worth his weight in gold. Our Season started tonight and I feel optimistic and confident going forward.

I was sceptical of Rooney, but must admit he added a calmness on the ball, long it may continue. James and Beadling both superb, as were teh whole team, a real desire to defend tonight.

He was ! Much better than Platt and Jones. Craft of Rooney, Taylor, Banks and Holloway,& Brown was vital.
Some good performances all around. Well done .

Rooney showing some class touches and passes. Taylor had a great game - so he needs to rest for the next 4 😂
Great performance and more importantly a win ! Need another game from everyone again on Saturday and get some momentum going

People were criticising beadling last season but I pointed out then that he can play in defence but he only played there once but another option now !, I'm a nervous wreck !

That's why we are fans and not managers, that will have gone exactly how Cooper planned it.
