Think Brown was a good appointment for 9 games in that he lifted the confidence of the squad and go them fitter but can’t say I am sad to see him go,important to get it right as we need some stability and need to do due diligence but need to have some urgency so we get our recruitment right and the new man needs time to get to know the players so we can start the season all guns blazing

People need to stop with this one. He just signed a new deal with Borehamwood and his idea of "North" is Birmingham. Move on.

Huge decision for the club. Another cock-up and there comes a point when you're doing more damage than good. Any sniff of a hapless rookie like Dunn should be met with resignations all round.

Wonder how many times this will have been said since Evatt left? “This next appointment is the most important decision in the clubs history” 🙄

Seems odd that supposedly terms were agreed and the contracts were being reviewed by lawyers. Not sure what to think in all honesty, I was never convinced he was the man to take us forward however we need some stability management wise from the end of one season into the next. Every appointment gets bigger and bigger, the board really need to get this one right.

I noted that in his interview before the Northampton game PH said 99% done and after the game PBT said ‘about 75% ‘ done . Shame. I expect PB has overplayed his hand and his ego got in the way.

Could be waiting for the season to finish? We have a lengthy pre season.

Nothing to do with his son playing for us then?

I’m very surprised by this news but I guess Brown's wishes for training in Barrow and possibly now the debacle with the Academy has led to this as I’m sure it won’t have been down to financial reasons in terms of his wages. I’d take Pete Wild though.
If there’s anything in this rumour, will depend on whether Halifax is promoted or not.
