Re: Have Barrow looked at this lad?
Sorry SKIPPER I Apologise read your post completely wrong we've had some great local lads wearing the shirt.SKIPPER wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 12:15 pm Said i wouldn't comment further but would just like to put btg straight as i think he may have taken me literally and misconstrued what i said. I did not mean two teams of locals 'missed' by the club but two teams of locals who have actually worn the shirt and even he cannot argue with that.

I like the sound of bartering with towns for players a new version of football monopoly perhaps. Telford must of cost us nearly half the county of Shropshire.
His value obviously goes up once you own the full county and put a few hotels on it. My version would be football grounds with retail villages and hotels with spas though.

Re: Have Barrow looked at this lad?
I've detected some scoffing in the media at the thought of Telford coming to Barrow. I must admit it came as a surprise to me. I'm not sure how this fits into our remuneration strategy though I'm pretty sure that any fee payable to Crawley would have been minimal. They've been trying to offload him for financial reasons for some time.
His relationship with Acquah could end up being something special. Lets hope so.

The manager's BBCRC following the Welsh game addresses the signing. Worth listening back.

Is the ‘Welsh game’ like the ‘Scottish play’?
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...
