Garner couldn't score through an open barn door. I think our 'Record Signing' will be shipped out come January. Total Flop! God only knows how much we paid Fleetwood for him?


On the subject of transfer fees: What does an 'undisclosed fee' actually mean?
Garner's fee was never disclosed - but we were told he was a 'Record Signing'
Dom Telford's fee was never disclosed either.
Why don't the club publish the fees paid?

Each County association has its own County Cup. So Stockport County will play in the Cheshire County cup. Ipswich Town Play in the Suffolk County Cup. Norwich City will play in the Norfolk County Cup.

There is even a Leicestershire and Rutland County Cup. A little known fact is that Barrow Rising Star won it in 1903.

I’ve been to that BarrowJim. It’s Barrow-upon-Soar in Leicesrshire. Very pretty place. Now home to Barrow Town.

Re County associations. Boundary changes have wrought havoc on the old county system -as in our own case as we are still affiliated to the Lancashire County FA. Every member of the the EFL will be affiliated to a County association but not necessarily the one that they geographically reside in. You may also have a County association that has no significant representation in the pyramid - Cornwall is one that comes to mind.

Teams from Cornwall thrive and pay their respected f.a obviously to enter the F.A. cup and Trophy.

They pay the same as Manchester United to enter the F.A. cup like Barrow do.

I do hope the day comes you never meet Truro in the fa cup first round. A clue where the top Cornish team are only 3 leagues behind Barrow.

The whole point of these comps is to enter the cups and if you withdraw from them you can not enter the fa cup.

You used to be able to sign free agents any time, as long as you had free squad places to be able to register them.
