What is it that PW always says - “If you can’t win don’t lose”?

So let’s win. But if not let’s not lose.

Any point away from home is never a "poor" point imo

No, hope. A draw is not tautological. :D

Er……true. It would only be tautological if the possibilities available were win or lose. The draw possibility means the statement can’t be tautological.

Dictionary definition of a tautology “a statement in which you say the same thing twice in different words, when this is unnecessary”
Might have missed something, but Suffolk quoted PW, and then in the same post said exactly the same thing, using very slightly different words.

I would contend it was reiteration. Tautology occurs within the same statement.
